Wonderful place to stay at Asakusa. The whole experience starting from the entrance is nothing less than perfect

Small room, equipped with all necessary facilities. Hotel is a part of center with shops, restaurants etc. All services are not overpriced. AC adapter, ice machine etc.

I stay at ths hotel 5 nights at a time around 3 to 4 times a week and it is always pleasant. It is very convenient and I have never experienced anything that is not to the usual Japanese standard. This is my preferred hotel in Tokyo.

This is a very nice hotel just about 5 km east of the Ginza district. The staff was marvellous (very helpful, kind and efficient) and we had a wonderful and relaxed stay. There is a bus from Haneda Airport that goes directly to the hotel and we found the connection with the Tokyo Metro very good and easy, too; the nearest station is about 8 minutes walk away. Also, you can go to Tokyo Station in about 20 minutes by Taxi (we did this with our luggage) and it is not expensive either. The rooms are very spacious (certainly for Japanese standards), so that we felt very, very comfortable. The room and bathroom design is not extremely modern, but everything was very clean and neat. Breakfast was also very good with an ample selection of different types of breakfast foods; the first day, we had to wait for a short while until there was space for us (it was the weekend), but this was not a problem at all, given that it was less than 10 minutes. The other days, we were seated right away. Also, there are restaurants and shops, including a supermarket is the same complex, which was extremely convenient.

Everything was absolutely perfect! We were welcomed with ginger tea while a private receptionist handled our check-in. The staff were incredibly attentive and made our honeymoon unforgettable. We were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking a 400-year-old garden, and every detail — from breakfast to the luggage service to our next hotel — was flawless. The delicate attention of providing night kimonos and pajamas was such a lovely touch. Perfect location near the metro for easy access to all the main attractions — we couldn’t recommend New Otani Zen Hotel more!

Everything: room, view on the Fuji Mount, breakfast in different places, Japanese garden, nice and efficient staff.

We love everything about the hotel. But most of all the amazing wonderful staff team. They went above and beyond. Very rare to get this service truly genuine hospitality and warmth nowadays . We were extremely impressed. And for this reason we look forward to coming back. Hopefully soon.

Room was very confortable albeit with little storage (we had a standard room). Water pressure in the shower was good as were amenities provided. Breakfast was buffet style and had many options including gluten free breads. We went to one of the restaurants and food was fresh and good. The location of the hotel is close to Ginza (5 minute cab ride). We did not use the public transportation but it is our understanding that is is very close by
