Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is the official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, located on the eastern side of Tokyo Bay, just 20 minutes by train from Tokyo Station.

It features all-day dining, outdoor parking, a Disney shop, luggage storage space, free Wi-Fi throughout the property and a currency exchange machine. The location was convenient, especially for a family of five, getting to the parks were quick and easy, beautiful views of the Bay from our rooms.

The property is a minutes walk from Tenyu Bus Stop and a 12-minute walk from Kowakien Bus Stop. The property also provides a free shuttle. Kowakudani station is a 16-minute bus ride from the property, while Hakone Kowakien Yunessun is a 5-minute walk away. A 30-minute drive away from the property, Hakone Open-Air Museum has an outdoor exhibit with sculptures and an indoor exhibit dedicated to Pablo Picasso. Lake Ashi is a 25-minute drive away. So so so beautiful and the staff was amazing only stayed for a night before heading off to my next location but would definitely stay another night to explore Hakone. Tried new foods I normally wouldn’t eat as well which was a great experience as well 🙂‍↕️

Opened in 1878, 富士屋ホテル features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Just 500 metres from Miyanoshita Station, it offers indoor and outdoor pools, a spa and a restaurant in a converted Imperial Villa called Kikka-so Inn. Rooms feature bathtubs with natural hot-spring water. The customer service is exceptional, they make you feel welcome, the rooms are like the photos, the breakfast is complete and very tasty. It is true that it is expensive, but it is worth it, we would definitely stay there again.

Situated in the Tokyo Bay area in Odaiba, this property is the closest city resort hotel to central Tokyo, a 20-minute monorail and train ride away from JR Tokyo Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The location of the hotel was convenient for me, especially since its near the train. The overall hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly. The airport bus service from the hotel back to the airport was a great additional service available for travelers traveling back home from Narita airport.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.6 km from Mito Station. Good location, close enough to JR Mito station, but far enough to be a quiet neighborhood. We didn't use it, but there was a bike available, e.g. for shopping at the nearby supermarket. There are instructions for the appliances in English. The rooms were very nice and clean.
