Amazing hotel! Staff were all very professional. My room was fantastic, with the most beautiful views over the city. I also treated myself to a meal from room service, I ate lunch at the Kozue restaurant, had breakfast at the Girandole restaurant, an evening drink at the New York Bar, and I used the swimming pool. If you're a fan of the film 'Lost in Translation' then I can assure you that you won't be disappointed! Probably the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed at, yet I am so glad I spent the money here. My weekend at this hotel has been a highlight of my time in Japan. If you're debating staying here, I'd say spend the money if you can - it's worth it to experience this hotel!

All members of staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room's view was great. We really liked the breakfast, albeit it was served to us due to covid (as opposed to buffet). Everyone was allocated enough time at the pool. The food is yummy. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I stayed in this hotel because I wanted to experience the actual setting of my favorite movie of all time "Lost in translation". Most of the places in hotel I went are the same as I saw in the movie. So, I could be biased but I was so happy just to walk around and look for location of the scene from the movie. The service were fantastic for me who rarely experience 5 stars hotel and it has one of the best Tokyo views I ever experienced (I have lived in Tokyo for 3 years). Sadly I spent just only a night but I could say it was the dream come true for me.

The hotel very generously treated us for my wife’s birthday with a room upgrade, a cake and special breakfast. The live music at the bar was also fantastic.

The atmosphere is of absolute relax since the first moment you step in. An expensive place, but when you go there you know it was worth the money. On top, for Lost-In-Translation fans like myself it's a big plus to see the movie locations in person. If you're one of those I suggest to watch the movie the day before your arrival. The american breakfast was very good, with a good variety ranging from sausages and eggs to yogurt and fruit. The swimming pool was very relaxing and enjoyable, It's located at the 45th floor, and is quite particular to have a swim while being surrounded by skyscrapers. Finally, they take a lot of care for the covid-19. Everything is constantly disinfected and there are sprays to clean your hands at every corner, and a thermal camera at the entrance.

It is bit far from the station so I do not recommend walking there. There are free shuttle buses that run every 10 min. until 7pm from the west side of Shinjuku station. The room was specious, beds were firm and comfortable. They have three different kind of coffee in the room that you can enjoy for free. They give you free complimentary bottles of water, green tea, herbal tea and some black tea. Bathroom was large and I enjoyed taking a hot bath there. I particularly enjoyed their Hinoki bubble bath in the tub that came with a loofah bath rub. Due to the pandemic, we had to eat breakfast in the room. My child loved their croissant and pan au chocolate. I enjoyed tasting their dark hot chocolate that came in a pot. Next time I would like to try their Japanese style breakfast there.

Exquisite hotel, upgraded to the diplomatic suite which was amazing. Views of Tokyo were surreal. Expensive but worth the treat if you can afford. Friendly staff and great location to walk to near activities. Dinner at the New York Bar was a tick off the to do list and did not disappoint.

The view, the large rooms, the service, the fact that over the years the hotel has kept the same atmosphere. How can their mirror doors still be so immaculate?

The staff at this property were fabulous. Particularly the lovely lady who checked me in. She also organised a great seat in the restaurant as I was travelling alone.

Very well appointed rooms. Great bed. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. Food quality was excellent.
