Hotels with Pools in Sur

Welcomed by friendly receptionist. Place was close to the main town of Sur. The surrounding area also had restaurants & supermarket. Very affordable. Building had a lift as well.

Everything was great, the staff is lovely and the hotel very clean and comfortable.

Very nice staff! Had dinner and breakfast there and was one of our best meals in Oman! Very confortable! Recommend without hesitation!

I rarely rate anywhere 10/10 so this says how good it is. There is air con & fans in each room, high quality WiFi (I had a video meeting without any issues), and a decent hot water shower. The friendly host can order you breakfast, lunch and dinner from a local takeaway (it was affordable & tasty!). There are two communal lounges, two balconies facing the sea, one big dining table, and one plunge pool. There's even CCTV for the parking area, not that it's needed as Oman is very safe. You won't be disappointed staying here. BTW you need 2-3 daylight hours to really enjoy Wadi Shab (45 min one-way hike to the first pool + 20 min one-way swim to the cave - a regular car is fine). You need a 4WD if you want to go to Wadi Tiwi. Also the location of Tiwi Pearl is correct on Google maps.

great house, with big pool, big rooms, big kitchen and extra big living room. In front of apartment is huge garden. A lot of privacy behind the wall. The beautiful sandy beach is close approximately 150 meters from apartment.

Wadi Shab Beach Villa is great little gem located at 6 min walking distance to Wadi Shab entrance. It has spectacular view and in the morning and afternoon you can see sea turtles. There is a beach downstairs, but be careful because waves are very strong. Family room was spacious and clean, with great sea view. Sami, the owner, was so nice and available for everything. He helped me a lot with organizing taxi to Sur with good price and also organized Wadi Tiwi and Bimah tour for me - with better price than you can find on the spot. Since I was there for only two days, time was essential, so I've managed to see both attractions in relaxed manner (Wadi Tiwi is almost impossible without 4RW and going down to swimming pool with rope is better with some assistance). Wadi Shab you can do alone (1 OMR is return boat ride) and I would say it not so demanding though there is some real hiking involved. When you come to the big swimming pool (though I say there was nicer and more scenic before) you can swimm to through underwater passage you will come to the waterfall - nothing really so special, but if I didn't saw it, I would never know. Be very careful for slippery rocks, because there are parts of journey you must do on foot. People without proper water shoes easily can have accidents slipping snd falling. I had dinner and breakfast at hotel and I was completely satisfied. In Oman you can find Indian food everywhere, local Arabic less. To conclude, I can really reccomend this hotel. Unspoiled nature, 5* view, proximity to Wadi Shab and Sami's friendly assistance in all I needed are reasons why I am giving Wadi Shab Beach Villa highest score.
