It was located further along the shore and so was very peaceful and quiet. You even get a personal boat to take you to and from the ferry stop. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast which included lots of fresh fruit and juice.

Set in Praia de Araçatiba, Mar da Lua provides an outdoor swimming pool. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge and a bar. Mar da Lua is an incredibly beautiful get away. This is my favorite place in Brazil so far and I was sad to leave!

Pousada Tropical Araçatiba is located in Praia de Araçatiba, 9 km from Bananal Bay and just 1 minute from the Beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The place was spotless and the staff was super helpful and kind. Andrade cooks beautifully - highly recommend having dinner there. We loved the breakfast, especially the cakes, and again, the staff's hospitality really made our stay special. The location is superb if you want to stay on this side of the island - we could reach a few good spots by foot. It was a short stay, but we really loved it.

Club MV Saco do Céu se găsește pe malul mării în Abraão, la 2 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Saco de Céu, și are diverse facilități, printre care o grădină, o zonă de plajă privată și un bar. The location was spectacular. We loved the simplicity and the rooms were great. We really felt like we were in Paradise. The pool was a great addition. Staff were amazing and we felt totally looked after. Just be aware food closes at 6pm and the bar at 9am. Other than that food via a water taxi is possible. Thank you for a great stay x

Featuring an outdoor pool, Pousada Anambé offers accommodation in Abraão, 200 metres from Sain't Sebastian Church. It’s a quiet and scenic location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but a short easy walk to all the restaurants and markets and shops. The property is clean and well cared for, the breakfast is tasty and fresh and filling, the pool is delightful, and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. We loved our stay. We reserved the one bedroom apartment with the kitchen. So it was roomy and comfortable, although the bed was small and a little stiff.

Located on Praia Pequena da Freguesia de Santana beach, this guest house is surrounded by rich Atlantic Forest. It offers a rustic-style restaurant and bar, outdoor pool and hot tub. We had such a special stay here. Especially the staff is excellent and they are incredibly nice. We really felt like time is slowing down.

Ideally located on Canto Beach in Vila do Abraão district, charming Pousada do Canto features a pool with a hot tub and panoramic sea views. Rooms are air conditioned. Beach front location, newly refurbished. It was a very comfortable stay which was made extra special by Max and Augustine’s hospitality. They helped us with everything from trips to restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was great as was the unexpected new year’s eve snacks and complimentary in-room bubbly delivery. Featuring volleyball and soccer fields, an outdoor pool and garden area, Recanto dos Lima is in Ilha Grande. It offers free Wi-Fi and a daily buffet breakfast at its restaurant. We were looking for somewhere to relax for a few days and it was exactly that! Really enjoyed the tours that they offer (reasonable price for an almost private tour) and the fact that they provide transport to the mainland for 70 reals (much cheaper than private.

The most handsome man welcomed me, I thought it was an hallucination since I didn't see him after, until I was taking a final dip in the pool before leaving, he reappeared like a mirage! Decent breakfast, clean room despite not the most modern. Confortable bed.
