Our initial room was small for the 5 of us so we requested to be moved to a bigger one which they granted. Rachel, one of the staff, is SUPER DUPER NICE and accommodating!! She answered all our questions and assisted us with our needs. This is my second time staying at this hotel and the experience was as lovely as before. The hotel is just walking distance to the old town and Chapel Bridge. Groceries and cafes are near as well.

Hotel Baslertor is well located in the centre of Luzern, and provides a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a terrace. This 3-star hotel offers luggage storage space.

This property is ideally located in the centre of Lucerne, within walking distance of transport links, major sightseeing opportunities, and many lovely eateries. The staff went above and beyond in every sense to facilitate our stay- genuinely exceptional service from before our arrival right through to our day of departure. The rooms were bright and pristinely clean, and the facilities of the pool, hot tub and sauna were a welcome bonus addition after a day spent in the snow on local mountains. Considering typical costs for accommodation in Lucerne it was very reasonably priced.

Simply WOW! 💖 Fantastic place and absolutely amazing staff! You guys are magicians at creating an atmosphere of hospitality and comfort! Small, cozy, it looks like the owners live in it themselves. I love and respect this very much. We were getting back from Lucerne late, the children were already asleep, and it was a kilometer away from the bus stop. I called them, they picked us up in a car from the stop. It was very helpful.
