The location is absolutely magical and the hosts superbly welcoming. The guest unit is underneath the host’s own residence and they manage to be accessible for any query while allowing guests real privacy. The attention to every small luxurious detail is just fantastic, from lounging kimonos to the fruit basket and secret stash of chocolates if you feel wicked. We even got a lovely hand towel as a gift when we left. An absolute treasure of a place.

Our initial room was small for the 5 of us so we requested to be moved to a bigger one which they granted. Rachel, one of the staff, is SUPER DUPER NICE and accommodating!! She answered all our questions and assisted us with our needs. This is my second time staying at this hotel and the experience was as lovely as before. The hotel is just walking distance to the old town and Chapel Bridge. Groceries and cafes are near as well.

Well located in the centre of Luzern, Hotel Baslertor provides 3-star accommodation close to Lucerne Station and Lion Monument.

This property is ideally located in the centre of Lucerne, within walking distance of transport links, major sightseeing opportunities, and many lovely eateries. The staff went above and beyond in every sense to facilitate our stay- genuinely exceptional service from before our arrival right through to our day of departure. The rooms were bright and pristinely clean, and the facilities of the pool, hot tub and sauna were a welcome bonus addition after a day spent in the snow on local mountains. Considering typical costs for accommodation in Lucerne it was very reasonably priced.

Simply WOW! 💖 Fantastic place and absolutely amazing staff! You guys are magicians at creating an atmosphere of hospitality and comfort! Everything was simply perfect: delicious, clean, friendly, beautiful, but what surprised me most was that the managers really listened to people's comments here! Can you imagine, it turns out there are managers in this world who really improve the service after complaints from guests!? 😁 And absolutely everything I read here about the hotel before checking in, absolutely all the wishes of previous guests, were met and fulfilled. We stayed here in early January in the suite with a gorgeous view to the lake. Beau Rivage is a classic hotel with notes of nostalgia. My wife and I really enjoyed its atmosphere. The staff were kind and very attentive. The breakfast was exquisite with a great selection of fresh local pastries and cheese.
