Everything was good, they even have a collection of books, artworks, and other things in their huge lobby. Plus all the usual things you find in a hotel of this level. And it's very quiet.

Around a 15-minute walk from the Temple of Heaven, New World Beijing Hotel features guestrooms with WiFi. Super sweet family that will show you the best spots to see the Great Wall of China. They were very accommodating and helpful with everything. The room was simple but very clean and exactly what was needed for our stay.

If you want to stay in this village (probably because you want to visit the Great Wall) this is the place to be. Tasteful interior, large, bright and quiet rooms (Deluxe category we stayed in) with a comfy bed. Very good food for dinner and breakfast. It is only a 5min walk to the Great Wall cable car. The hosts arranged our tickets for a 8 a.m. start which is highly recommended to avoid the massive crowds a few hours later. The genuine hospitality of the family running the place makes the difference.
