In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. We really enjoyed our stay here, Shiralee made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived.. she also cooks a delicious English breakfast!! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Beautiful location, really cute kitchen, spacious bedroom, lovely modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend. Spa isn't on site but only 5 mins drive away. Great pool and sauna.

A very warm welcome into a stunning period building. Ample parking right outside. Very spacious room, with comfortable bed and sofa. The bathroom is also spacious and well equipped with a bath and separate shower. The toiletries were lovely. A good sized mini fridge was a bonus, alongside a good TV. The pre order breakfast option delivered to your room worked great, especially travelling with our dog! Hotel very walkable to local pubs and eateries. Would recommend for a stay in Ambleside.

Dating back to 1854, the award-winning Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club is quietly situated in the center of Windermere. Centrally located and quiet. The owners are lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

מלון קיסיידרס קלאב (Quaysiders Lakes Resort - Quaysiders Club) ממוקם על חוף אגם ווינדרמר (Lake Windermere) בעיירה ווטרהד (Waterhead), במרחק של הליכה קצרה מהכפר אמבלסייד (Ambleside). I absolutely love how spacious the apartment was + huge plus for the two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. The swimming pool was very pleasant and the laundry room with dryers was also very helpful.

St John's Lodge is an award-winning guest house situated between Windermere village and the Lake at Bowness Bay. The location. Walking distance to the Lake, shops & restaurants. The staff were very welcoming. The breakfast they served was amazing.
