The cottage is 25 far from the city by motorbike, located in a quiet and relaxing place. The bungalows are perfect, big and confy. The personnel was always helpful and very nice to us. You can rent your motorbike there and they are always willing to help. Clean pool and well maintained installations, hot water, nice breakfast… If i go back to Jogyakarta i will stay in the same place. We got a big delay with our flights and they were very flexible with us with direct communication by whatsapp

My stay at House of Tugu was beyond all expectations. The property itself is absolutely unique – more like staying inside a living museum than a hotel. I was even given a complimentary museum tour, which made the experience even more special. The room was gorgeous, beautifully designed, and I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade upon arrival. Afternoon tea and dinner were outstanding – among the best I’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere was calm and intimate, never crowded, which made the entire stay feel even more exclusive. Without hesitation, I can say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. A truly exceptional place that I recommend with the highest praise.

Beautifully and recently created. Loved the pool and the plants and the ability to also work with decent wifi. Though it was the owners and family (and the rest of the team) that really made it. They helped in more ways than we would have anticipated. Would definitely return.

The location is perfect. I stayed in a beautiful room on level 88, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend taking a dip in the swimming pool — it's truly fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the restaurant team is just as outstanding. The location is more than perfect. Close to Borobudur temple. The temple is about a 15-minute bike ride from the villa. They have push bikes that can be used for free by the guests. The villa is also about 15 minutes walk from the traditional market. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel, which was fantastic.
