This is a beautiful old world hotel, with fantastic vintage furniture in beautiful and huge rooms with lovely decor and with all mod cons, and is situated bang in the middle of Surabaya. Checkin is swift and easy, and the staff are well trained and courteous. This is by no means the cheapest high end place in Surabaya but, without a doubt, it is the best value for what you get. And it is the most historical, interesting and the best located hotel. Surabaya doesn't really have more than a weekend's worth of attractions, but this hotel is a major attraction itself, and is a short walk to all the other attractions that Surabaya has to offer. Not only that, it is strategically located near a large Mall, with great shopping, ATMs, and food options. The hotel also has a great bar for socialising.

The room was nice , great bed and pillows, our houskeeper, Sandy, he was just the best, he made our stay more personal&familial by writing letters and making dolls from towls, very careful, all clean always, but in all all the personal of the hotel is veey kind and helpful, the hotel smells good and the breakefast waa the most varied and tasty, maybe the best we ever had, and also the Magnolia restaurant was great, best Salmon I ate. The pool to the side of the house was, as the rest of the place, well-maintained and we enjoyed using it. Rooms were large and accommodating, and the ceiling fan worked well. Peter and his staff were excellent and attentive hosts, and they arranged for his to see the nearby former plantation.

I arrived with my family and got a very good and comfortable room and service. like coming home to a luxurious but very warm atmosphere. Thank you for all the best service that I will never forget, especially to Ms Nadila who gave me a surprise on my birthday. I will definitely come back.
