Breakfast is abundant and we were assigned a table for our whole stay, this also means we were greet every morning by the same staff that quickly learned our preferences. The SPA is the 'secret gem' of this hotel. Spacious, brand new, well attended, an oasis for that rainy day. We enjoyed Federico's Aufguss sauna ceremony every day of our stay. Some other activities and entertainment were offered during the week as part of our stayed that made it very special and enjoyable. This hotel was our favorite of our northern Italy trip and would come back without a doubt. Highly recommended.

Located in the popular ski resort of Cortina D’Ampezzo, Savoia Palace offers self-catering apartments with rustic-style décor. Some offer panoramic views of the Cristallo and Tofane mountains. We adored the location and the snowy weather, but the highlight was undoubtedly the hotel staff. They were incredible, attentive not only to our needs but also to our dog's, making us feel right at home.

Parkhotel Ladinia is a wellness resort in San Vito di Cadore, 300 metres from the Donaria ski lift. All rooms feature a mountain-view balcony and there is free Wi-Fi. The ParkHotel Ladinia is a wonderful hotel with lovely and attentive service. The breakfast is very complete offering anything one could want to begin the day. Dinners are also very good, every course is delicious. This is a very, very well run hotel where details and crisp attention matter. It's also very calming and beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the spa/pool with the indoor-outdoor design. I had a car rental issue that was very frustrating and protracted. Each person who assisted me at the front desk was kind, professional and skilled, enabling me to resolve the problem. I chose to stay in San Vito di Cardore rather than Cortina d'Ampezzo because I wanted a more calm atmosphere. It's an easy short drive to Cortina if you want to do shopping, evening events or enter the fray of many people. I treasured the calm and quiet of this hotel. And the views are spectacular.

Faloria Mountain Spa Resort is in the quiet village of Zuel di Sopra, with beautiful views across the valley and the Dolomites. The breakfast with Maximo as a waiter was the best breakfast I’ve ever experienced.
