Everything and then some! It was super clean with a lil kitchenette, outdoor pool (I spent every night by the pool hours in the morning), a grill n jacuzzi which I never used. Extended my stay by 2 more days. Will definitely return. Awesome communication too. Don't use Google map directions

I absolutely LOVE this hotel & WILL be coming back. Portland is such a beautiful parrish. So much to see and do. My villa was spacious and amazing. I loved my outdoor tub and my private pool. I love the fact is was nestled away. One can truly relax here. The property was clean and staff was amazing. The view from my room was breathtaking. The private beach was EVERYTHING!!!

In the heart of the most beautiful parish in Jamaica - green and lush Portland. Frenchman's Cove, Blue Lagoon and Boston Bay Jerk are minutes away. (Don't forget the exceptional rafting on the Rio Grande). Close by and nestled on the edge of its beautiful bay, is Port Antonio a town with a real mellow and welcoming vibe. So much to see. Ask around for 'Rock Bottom' and he'll give you the best deals on authentic carvings. Spicy Hill and it's substantial garden is surrounded by a festival of tropical trees and climbers. Great amenities, everything you could ask for. A soothing and restorative tropical treat for the soul. The staff were amazing. Maestro Denny, brilliantly cooked up any traditional dishes we asked for - a tropical treat for the tastebuds. Very helpful for all our needs - escorting us to the market, recommendations, booking stuff, sorting out any travel issues. Literally nothing was a problem. Keith - attentive, helpful, softly-spoken, always smiling, a lovely character - even fixed a wheel on a suitcase! Karen - discreetly keeps the place tidy and clean and a welcome place to return home to after a day out in the sun. A humble character and a beautiful soul. We had the most amazing time, all 7 of us - every day laughter and fun and experiencing something new and different. Richard - you have a great crew there, hold onto them. Everything is very well taken care of in detail. Very clean, organized and pleasant place. A very exclusive stay, as it accommodates few people. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Incredible dinner and breakfast, adjusted to our preferences. The view from the Villa is stunning. Unforgettable sunset. I highly recommend it and hope to have the opportunity to return.

The Pimento Lodge is the perfect place as a base for spending few days in Portland and explore the surrondings. We (family of 4) found this area more interesting and unspoilt than further to the west, near Ochio Rios. The hotel is up the hill, away from the main road, providing stunning views over the sea. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Local pool was clean - super good for a morning dip. What made the place special were the hosts - Kate and Lloyd. Besides looking after you, providing the breakfast (made of local ingredients) and cooking a dinner (if you wish), they are the best to learn about Jamaica, it's history and traditions.
