With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

Offering an outdoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and 6 restaurants and bars, Biwako Hotel is located a 5-minute walk from Keihan Hamaotsu Train Station. The location was fantastic. Beautiful view of the lake a far away from the mad crowds of Kyoto. The staff and the service was unbelievable for the price by far the best accommodation hotel service we experienced in Japan

Only a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station with the complimentary shuttle, hotel Yuzanso features Japanese-style rooms with a private open-air hot spring bath and spectacular views of Biwako... Food was delicious, staff was exceptionally helpful and proactive. Shuttle service made it all the better. Everything was clean and thr hotspring baths were gorgeous
