With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

Situated on the shores of Lake Biwa, Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel offers rooms with lake views, 7 restaurants and an outdoor pool. Lake cruises are available in front of the hotel. The hotel is on the lake. Despite this, the area is not for recreation. We were given a room on a high floor and from the window you could see the beautiful view of the lake. The service was exceptional, wide beds and very comfortable mattresses. Cleaning and changing of towels every day. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel has several restaurants: Chinese, Japanese, French and also a coffee bar with a large selection of cakes. The only disappointment is that this bar is only open until 6 pm.

Only a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station with the complimentary shuttle, hotel Yuzanso features Japanese-style rooms with a private open-air hot spring bath and spectacular views of Biwako... This hotel was an incredible experience! From start to finish. First, you call for the shuttle via a cell phone from the train station lol. The staff are SO friendly, they were incredible! The breakfast was traditional and a great experience! The rooms were sooo cool! We booked a room with an open air bath. It also had a sunken table which was awesome! It was a great stay!
