The River Resort is 8 km from the World Heritage site of Wat Phou. It offers stylish air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi. Staff was welcoming and very accommodating. They were able to set up a private tour of the ancient temple for us. All the service was amazing. This is a GORGEOUS RESORT and a perfect place to celebrate a honeymoon, anniversary or birthday. The beautifully appointed rooms are set in a tropical forest amidst rice fields for a serene setting. Beds and linens are of superior quality. The spa services are top notch and reasonably priced. Food was beautifully presented and many choices available. The most perfect resort of our entire trip!

The first cabin did not suit but as soon as we mentioned this to our host he placed us in a cabin that fulfilled all our needs. The AC worked wonderfully, the room was clean & fresh. It was a good location for the price. Near a wonderful restaurant and easy to walk about.
