We stayed in a private room in this hostel and it was the best of both worlds. Staff was super nice, breakfast was yummy and there were some activities offered (eg. Empanada class for 50 pesos). Nicely equipped & great amenities (kitchen, room, common rooms). We booked a parking space through the hostel for 100 pesos/day which was across the street, so very convenient. Just be mindful that they lock it during the night, so if you want to go in/out you will have to ask the staff for the key during the night.

The breakfast was delicious and incredibly helpful as our party had a few allergies to work around. The colors are so happy. We spent much of our time here as it was a rest stop in our travels. The neighborhood here is close to the main parts of the city and Santiago is a great neighborhood to walk around in general. The bed was a huge surprise and so comfortable.

This 4-star hotel offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. The hotel provides a year-round outdoor pool and a 24-hour front desk. The staff is really helpful and nice, we felt well welcomed! The room was amazing - very comfortable bed, nice big TV, hot water, great AC++! Rooftop pool was clean and nice, really enjoyed it early in the morning and at night. Emplacement is amazing, next to Paseo Montejo and still easily walkable to the Plaza Grande. Our favorite coffee shop was just 5min away (Soco) and other great options too. Would go again without hesitation. There was not a ton of guests which made it extra relaxing

Breakfast brought to our room was a nice bonus and each day was a different dish. Pool cleaned daily, 2 min walk to the beach. One of the best stays out of our 2 weeks in the Yucatan region.
