Great location, a short drive to the central part of town. Our room had a lake view, which you can enjoy from a covered and heated balcony, which gives it a plus if you go in winter. The room itself was really comfortable and every detail was well thought out. The spa pool was divine and the place was an oasis to relax. I'll definitely stay there again.

Very efficient up to date de longhi heater, although apartment was nice and warm. We were very happy with the area and just far enough from city to feel the peace . Good walking paths besides river. Look forward to a return visit.

It's close enough to everything and you don't have the sulphur smell of Roturua. Food for breakfast was fantastic and rooms were nice, large and felt private.

The location up on Coromandel Peninsula is simply beautiful. We walked across the road to the rocky beach for sunset each evening, where you could hear a pin drop, very peaceful! This is a lodge that caters to campers as well as folks renting kitchenette rooms, like us. People come here for the fishing, and I heard it was very good. If we had stayed another day, it would have been fun to go out on a charter boat for a day of fishing. We went on excursions each day, one was to hike the Coromandel Coastal Walkway, just fantastic. There is no shortage of fun things to see and do here. You do have to bring groceries with you, as there is no restaurant nearby.

The exquisite views are a extra bonus, breakfast with the host is a great learning for both them and us and a great way to meet others whom had came from the UK and Germany. Bedroom is filled with antique tea set, bed is sturdy and comfortable as we were a bit skeptical being larger women. The highlight is the super powerful shower that feels like a massage whilst showering, temperature is very hot but all can be adjusted by the adjuster, pull out fully for a super powerful massage shower or push in to soften the pressure of the shower. Has a pool but was too cold to try. Everyone needs to visit this place to enjoy nature at its best and appreciate the hard work that this family has put in to create a space to relax and enjoy. Can be in hamilton in 5 mins, so extra bonus being so close. Search for the street instead of the address otherwise you'll waste time going on a merry go round and get frustrated.
