Casa Morey is located in Iquitos, facing the Itaya River. It offers spacious rooms with elegant décor and free Wi-Fi. An American breakfast is served daily. The hotel is amazing, big space, clean, with an excellent atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious.

The bed is really comfortable and there are the best pillows ever. You have a smart tv with netflix, disney plus and everything you want. I loved the make up table from the bathroom. Not to mention the private pool. As a bonus, the place is really close to the airport. Less than 10 minutes walk. It was one of the best places I stayed in.

It's quite close to Belen Market, which is both good (if you like outdoor food markets - think raw meat, vegetables, and loads of people) and not always great (think smells, dirt, and higher crime).

The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

This lodge is located on the banks of the Amazon River in Yanamono's Communal Reserve, 80 km from Iquitos. It offers rustic accommodation and daily guided excursions into the Amazonian Jungle. Great planning , amazing guide and activities.
