Set in Viana do Castelo and facing Lima River, the AP Dona Aninhas is 2 minutes' walking from the city centre. Very friendly staff, wonderful food, beautiful and very comfortable rooms. Remarkable live piano music during breakfast, pool table in good shape. Would happily come again

I stayed for one night with a friend and had an amazing experience. The hotel is very well located, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a bed that made it easy to relax. The view was absolutely breathtaking, truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed the pool and the breakfast, which, although simple, offered a good variety of options. One of the highlights was that the beach by the lagoon is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which made it even more convenient. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I genuinely couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Gerês.

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. All the staff has been super helpful! We had a wonderful stay there. The balcony and the garden were so beautiful and from the balcony you can see a great view of Guimarães when the weather is nice 😊👍! Also, the breakfast was delicious!
