We did not arrive until after 10pm thanks to SJ railway and the bar staff Jorgen and Rasmus were outstanding as they made a chess and meat platter for us.

This hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. Great Hotel at great location. Extremely friendly and helpful team. Parking, several restaurants and bars nearby (1-2 min walk). Breakfast was very good. If you like to visit Karlstad this Hotel is my recommendation.

Situated on the shore of the Klarälven river, this hotel offers free WiFi and free access to gym, pool and sauna. Karlstad city centre is about 10 minutes' walk away. The hotel was everything we wanted and more. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was sparkling clean and had all the necessary amenities. The view of the river and the old city of Karlstad from the room was amazing. There's a large parking lot in front of the hotel with free parking for the guests. The swimming pool and the saunas are in a great condition and really nice to visit after a long day. The breakfast is great - there's plenty of choices for food, all delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Totally can recommend to stay!
