I understand why this place is rated an almost perfect 10. We booked last minute (20min prior to arrival) and you would have thought they'd been preparing for us all day. We had the entire place to ourselves during low season but they didn't skimp on anything. I cannot say enough good things about everything from the room to the cellar tour to the fresh made warm croissants at breakfast. It was perfect.

We had a two-room apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the vineyards. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with the owners while we were there. We had the added breakfast and it was amazing! G House was super nice and a good location for exploring the area’s wineries and farms. I recommend.

We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing experience in the middle of beautiful nature. Very helpful and kind staff. All meals served were great and delicious. Our room Rožmarin was spacious, clean and comfortable. The wines and breakfast were truly five-star, with special attention to dietary needs, which I sincerely appreciated. We’ll definitely be back!
