- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 448 reviewsI had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel located in a village near the Alps near Innsbruck. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, you can easily get from the city to the hotel and back in about 30 minutes. I got a room with a single bed, it was clean, comfortable, and you could see the mountains from the window. The room has, in addition to everything, a bathrobe, slippers, and a minibar. There is a SPA area with a Finnish sauna, hammam, and a relaxation area on sun loungers with a panoramic window through which you can see the mountains. I would like to note that in the spa, basically everyone was naked in the baths and showers, be prepared for this. There is a restaurant with Austrian cuisine, it was delicious. I was especially impressed by the choice of food during breakfast, it was a choice like a 5* hotel, it was dizzying. Definitely recommended👍Guest review byAlexanderRomania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 301 reviewsThis is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Gothic Room which is large and very quiet, although it faces a larger main street. Although it wasn't an issue for us and should not deter you, note that the bathroom is an added feature to the room, so it has a little bit less privacy than a traditional hotel bathroom. The breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly, the room was extremely clean, beautiful and well-appointed. I also want to add that Ursula is the one to ask for anything you need. She is amazing!Guest review byStephenieUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 904 reviewsI was surprised how wonderful this small town is and the hotel was located just next to beautiful hiking paths, few great restaurants and a wonderful grocery store where you could eat as well. The rooms are small but very clean, cozy and well equipped. I would like to come back there soon and stay longer.Guest review byAleksandraUnited States

Our room faced away from the road and didn’t hear anything. Bed was comfy and everything worked just fine. Several restaurants within a very short walking distance. Nice locked garage to keep our bicycles in.Guest review bySteveUnited States

The property seems great in the pictures but that is far from the truth. On booking.com pictures of a modern facility are shown but once you are there they will allocate you in rooms in the old property (nothing like the one on the picture)!!! It is far from a four star facility, it seems more like a youth hostel: Room temperature was 28 degrees (no A.C - upon complaint we were advised by the hotel staff to sleep with open windows) there were hairs on the bed, floor and side table. Most of breakfast items were out by 8 so try to have breakfast before 8!! I will definitely never stay in this property again because it is a waste of money.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable I think there was AC or perhaps it was just that the ambient was comfortable. The hotel is well suited for travelers , near highway. The only negative was that there is not adequate parking near the hotel, their adverts suggested otherwise. We arrived at eight PM on a Saturday night and their restaurant was completely booked so we had to eat at a near by Italian restaurant -Pronto. Very good meal and excellent service. The breakfast was very good, especially the wide selection of breads.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0
Tulfes is a hidden gem to get away from it all.
Tulfes is a hidden gem to get away from it all. Not far from Innsbruck, so you can easily go for a day in that lovely city, but far enough away and up the mountainside to feel completely out of the rat race. The village itself has a few restaurants and the odd bar/shop but not much else. There is a Spar supermarket and fuel 5 mins away by car in the next village. The views on a clear day are just unbelievable - and I say this as a Scot who is no stranger to the Scottish mountains! Tip on the restaurants if you require gluten free - they're not great I'm afraid. Very few options. If you dont speak German its a bit tricky as most places dont have translated menus or websites, so you either have to speak German or hope you find someone who speaks your language... Tulfes has a superb cable car that takes you a good way up one of the mountains, but the last 650m ascent is up to you! There is a fantastic woodland adventure at the first station (the cable car to the top is in two sections) where kids can hire a 'kugel' (wooden ball) to run down fixed or build-your-own wooden runs. €10 each but €8 refunded on return of the kugel, so thats €2 each for hours of healthy fun, away from screens, in fresh mountain air.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Hall in Tirol is a large Village Small Town 22km from Innsbruck. It consists of the Old town surrounded by New Build in the oldstyle which mixes very well. The local people are extremely and helpful to visitors. Public transport between other villages and Innsbruck is excellent and frequent and you can obtain from the Tourist Information centre a 3 5 or 7 day City pass.which gives you not only free regional transport but free access to museums and other such places of interest but also a free ride on two cable cars. The Nordketter and the Pachekofel. Which was only replaced some 10yrs ago. There is so much to see and do in the region that I could spend all night. Enough for now.Guest review bygeorge - 8.0

Friendly hotel mostly occupied by hikers and people that appreciate quiet. We stayed here for one night in transit. It was not cheap - if you search you could find better value for money but overall this was a good place to stay. The pool is very nice with a great view of the mountains. For dinner we had to go in town - in the village there was not a lot of choice but Innsbruck is just 30 mins drive down the mountain. I would recommend for hikers and mountain bikersGuest review byMaartenNetherlands - 10.0
