Very good service also for small details and friendliness

The hotel is located like 10 minutes walking from the train station and lake Traunsee also 10 minutes by walking. Room was clean and got everything. The bed was clean, there was a hairdryer and a small fridge which was great for food. I had a hotel room with a balcony on which there was a small table and chair,really good and what's best? From balcony you can watch mountains in distance. Nice view. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Very nice and accommodating hosts and staff. Clean,modern and within easy walking distance to central parts of Gmunden. A very extensive breakfast buffet.

Good sized double room with balcony overlooking the lake. Good Restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Only a short 5 minute walk from the train station. The view from our balcony was lovely, we were able to see the mountains on the far side of the lake. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation.

3rd Stay. Lovely hotel. Located by Truansee which is very relaxed compared to busy Hallstatt.

Hotel Esplanade is amazing. My room has no bathtub, just shower, but the view is facing the lake. Everything is super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is warm at night inside the room and shower is great. The breakfast (starting 730am) was very good too. I would like to thank staff member Ms Day for making my stay wonderful.  The view from my room is great. Note the supermarket is at right downstairs the hotel. It is closed on Sunday but opens 715am on Monday so it is convenient. 

Spacious room (at least our apartment), terrace with sun loungers + balcony. Numerous parking spots available, plentiful breakfast. Walk to the lake and promenade 10-15mins.

Perfect location, lake view from the room and from the breakfast area. Silent and beatiful room, with lots of pretty details. Friendly staff. Brakfast had also everything ehats needed. Would like to give 6 out of 5 stars!

The friendliness off the staff and willingness to help with a gluten free diet. The hôtel facilities were wonderful, the infinity pool was fabulous, the décor was very artistic and the situation by the lake was perfect.

I know this hotel well. I stay there when returning from motorbike trips to the Alps. A family-run hotel with very good food and comfortable rooms overlooking the lake. You feel the atmosphere of a place managed for years by the Grunberg family. It is a pleasure to return here. Close to the lake and the lifts to the mountains. Like the whole lake area an excellent holiday destination. Recommended for motorcyclists!

Pefect location in the heart of Gmunden - close to the old town and main square. Parking lot available but with limited number of spots. But we had the places to store and charge our bicycles. Good breakfest and very friendly and helpful Host.

Nice, helpful staff. Clean room, comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful landscape. Quiet, peaceful place.
