The location was perfect for a romantic and peaceful escape. The design and cleanliness was exceptional. There was a complimentary continental breakfast that was a nice touch. The bath tub was an absolute highlight. So incredibly spacious and beautiful! It was also only a short drive to local sights and restaurants. The sunsets and sunrises were incredible and the perfect spot to see them in all their glory! The wildlife didn’t come close to the villa like I would have hoped, but that’s out of anyone’s control and didn’t impact our stay in the slightest.

Location was great, parking was great, service was wonderful. The pool and spa pool and sauna were stunning. Everything looked exactly like the photos online.

We enjoyed a private Spa with a nice view and a glass of sparkling wine. The most romantic trip we have had. We used to go to a day spa in Daylesford. It was about $80 per person. Thinking of the comfort and price, it was the most cost effective trip Id say. We come back next year :)

Beautiful churches and buildings, I would have liked to walk around and explore them for a couple of days. Maybe next time? Piano at was a great venue for a fun filled night with Spice Up Your Night!

A town full of history.

A town full of history. We enjoyed a stroll through the gardens, the talking tram, the Chinese museum and a stroll around the antique and collectable shops. The old buildings are beautiful and remind us of the history surrounding the township.

We loved the surrounding areas.

We loved the surrounding areas. The lakes and waterfalls particularly. The mineral spa at Hepburn spa was relaxing. It’s easy to go further afield with a car and we visited Trentham and the falls, hanging rock and Kyneton. There are many fabulous places to eat in Daylesford including the Daylesford Hotel.

Staff at the bathhouse were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and pleasant. The two pools were both at 36 degrees Celsius, one pool was still, the other had strong jets of water suitable to massage the whole body. A glass wall provided view of a green and beautiful hillside. Daybeds were available at poolside to rest on between soaking in the warm mineral water.

Historic Victorian Goldfields town with a lot of well...

Historic Victorian Goldfields town with a lot of well preserved buildings & preserved history. An excellent Tourist Information Centre in the excellent original Market Hall building, containing quality art exhibits & displays. A wonderful old Art Gallery and Goldfields Museum underneath that features the Mount Alexander Diggings and other nearby towns & localities BUT no profile on Maldon, the National Trust's "Australia's First Notable Town" classification that falls within the Mount Alexander Shire. The Castlemaine Cemetery at Campbell's Creek was rewarding to visit to look for ancestors' graves but disturbing also to learn of the recent news revelations about previous trustees' desecration & removal of many old graves to resell the plots. An illegal practice over many years now stopped by the law with a now recovery project by the current trustees. Also the town has plenty of well stocked shops & restaurants, with the Vietnamese being very good.

The town is very pretty and has some beautiful heritage buildings, it is close to the wineries, it is close to some stunning areas in the Gold fields, and other beautiful towns. WE had dinner at the Station restaurant in the actual station, and the meal was really nice, the wines were great and we had a lovely meal. As we were there for a weekend getaway we only had the one meal.

An hidden gem of a property, beautifully maintained and quiet. The location is wonderfully central to exploring the surrounding communities of Castlemaine and Bendigo. The town of Maldon is small but has great services including a wonderful pizza/fish and chips Cafe, an IGA grocery store and a great bakery

Trentham is a gorgeous little town, tucked away in the beautiful Victorian country side. the people are friendly and the town is welcoming to all that visit. I highly recommend this beautiful quant little town to anyone looking for the perfect get away in country Victoria. You won't be disappointed.

Kyneton is such a beautiful town.

Kyneton is such a beautiful town. I was fortunate to stay in Winter yet still experience the gorgeous Autumn colours of the trees. It is safe and friendly. It's like stepping back in time with colonial buildings and architecture. The Country Cobb bakery is there (owned by previous Master Chef participant) and I experienced the best egg, cheese and bacon roll I had ever tasted in my life! Apparently the pies are incredible. Piper street has amazing shops, restaurants and art as well. It is clean and charming. I definately will visit again.
