Unfortunately many homeless people wander the streets.

Unfortunately many homeless people wander the streets. Very sad to see. Just need to stay safe and careful after dark. Stay on main roads and not in alleys. The mayor that was just re elected needs to step up to help these people and the business's that are suffering.

There's a reason why Big White is rated very highly among ski resorts for best family ski resort. They really have something for everyone's abilities and runs that families can enjoy together. With great apres ski, restaurants, bars, and other resort amenities to make your trip feel special you'll be planning your next trip back before you leave!

In my opinion Kelowna is like paradise on Earth.

In my opinion Kelowna is like paradise on Earth. The climate, scenery, and overall experience was fantastic. I was only there for a week this time, but I lived in Kelowna for about 2 years in the past, so I know it very well. On this visit, which was only for a week, I went hiking twice on the Bellevue Creek Trail, visited the Milk Shed coffee shop twice, and went to Orchard Park Shopping Mall twice. I also visited City Park and the marina, went for a walk along the pier, and went to Catelowna Cat Cafe to see the cats plus had a lovely lunch there. They sell healthy food and pastries. Lastly, I had dinner at two really nice restaurants: Moxie's and Bluetail Sushi.

A large ski resort with many trails and lifts to choose from...

A large ski resort with many trails and lifts to choose from. Very close to the city of Kelowna. Perfect snow condition in the middle of spring break. Decent restaurants around and even has a market if you forgot the milk. Rental was easy and staff was great and friendly. We also had a great time tubing on our last day - recommended after you are exhausted from skiing but still want some silly snowy fun. You can get to everywhere if you are on your skis, otherwise you can take the shuttle and gondola to get around. Overall the kids wanted to stay longer than 4 days, but the grown ups had all the fun we needed and were ready to get back to real life.

Very cozy holiday resort city, with breathtaking nearby lakes and several wine tasting options as tourist attractions. The city is surrounded by nearby hills, not very crowded, flowing traffic and comfortably available parking. While we were there only for an overnight stay on our way to Vancouver from Calgary, we intend to return to the city for a longer stay to explore popular tourist attractions.

Big White Ski Resort was absolutely amazing, we went in...

Big White Ski Resort was absolutely amazing, we went in January for 6 nights. I have skied in Japan and Australia and this was by far the best. The snow was amazing, the lines for the lifts were very short. The staff at the restaurants were lovely as was the food and choices. The ski rental and lift passes were very reasonable and staff extremely helpful. I would absolutely go there again.
