The hotel is everything and more when to come to us looking for a perfect stay. It is in a very good location, it is only a few minutes walk from the ski lift. The room was better than a lot of 5 star hotels we have been fortunate to stay at. The continental breakfast has everything you need and more, especially the view from your table! Some may say it not enough as there are no hot options, but honesty with what is on offer you don’t miss the hot option!

Everything in our stay was great. The hotel is run by a lovely family and friendly staff. The location cannot be better: 30 meters just in front of the T-bar slopes with easy access to the whole ski complex. Breakfast is really good and our room was really cozy and clean, with a stunning view of the mountains.

Spending my birthday here made it even more special — I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to celebrate. The views from the hotel were simply unforgettable: endless mountains, glistening glaciers, and the charming village below. We even spotted the adorable local marmots hopping around, which added an extra touch of magic to our mornings. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the atmosphere — peaceful, welcoming, and utterly enchanting. Each day felt like a dream, a perfect escape from the ordinary. Leaving was incredibly difficult; I found myself checking out with tears in my eyes, heartbroken to say goodbye to such a special place. Amazing hotel, service, location and breakfast. We loved everything and they take care of small details like a complimentary coffee break with cake after skiing every afternoon. Breakfast is also delicious and the spa facilities are great. The transport to the slopes on the electric car every day is great and the guy is super friendly

The propertyis about 15 minutes walk from the car station. It's on the edge of the village so in winter you could ski to the door. It was my first time in Saas-Fee. I found the locals really friendly and genuine. People in the shops and services really friendly too. The mostly speak a bit of English and most speak french as well as German and Swiss German. I think many speak Italian too, I am familiar with Zermatt but Saas-Fee beats it hands down. Much smaller but so classy and excellent restaurants. I would definitly want to return. The ski lifts and mountain metro are brilliant.

Saas-Grund is a very nice and quiet village, it was a great bonus, that the gondolas were very close to the hotel. We took the gondolas up to reach the hiking trails. We liked the very high mountains that surrounded the village.

Saas-Almagell a quiet village a short bus ride from Sass Fee. It was nice to be away from the noise and crowds of Sass Fee. The scenery in the Sass valley is amazing. I'm definitely going to come back in the spring to do some hiking.

The village is small and quaint but there is loads of accommodations and restaurant choices all the same, and our family of four loves being able to keep skiing late into the spring/Easter period with higher peaks here holding snow for longer.

I came off season, with my other hostel cancelled. They were perfectly accommodating at the last second. Thank you so much! Everyone: come here and you'll feel as you did as a child going to your grandparents house. It's cozy and nostalgic.

Saas Almagell is a small village with easy access either walking or by a free bus to Saas fee and Saas grund. All you need to an summer walking holiday with extras. Amazing mountain walks all around.

Saas-fee has some very long and excellent runs.

Saas-fee has some very long and excellent runs. The runs at the top of the funicular (metro) are classed as red- but IMO are blue- and they are the best runs in the area. The lift infrastructure is modern and efficient. In terms of piste crowding, we went at Easter, and even tho the lifts had queues, we waited no more than 15 minutes at the peak time of the day (the mornings), the runs were at times busy, but most importantly, never felt over-crowded. Being a small area, you could get quickly bored after a few days. We went 1st week of April, the snow keeps very well at the top all day, but at around 2500m and below, it starts to deteriorate from mid-day- so plan you skiing well. Saas Fee is very good for families, but for couples or groups (adults), I think it's a bit boring. Apres starts and ends early. The restaurants want you out by 9pm and there's only a small choice of bars- the Old Cinema Pub being the best- and it is very good- this is no Zermatt if that's what you're after. The bus from Visp can get crowded- you will need sharp elbows to get on! For a non-skiing day- I can highly recommend going up the Hannig gondola for a wonder round the top- the restaurant and bar is very good and offers fabulous views. It's a nice place if you know what you're doing (hiking / climbing / etc.) but the village is small and the choice of restaurants is extremely limited. Saas-Fee provides much better options but the buses don't run too often in the evening -- plan with care.
