The hotel is everything and more when to come to us looking for a perfect stay. It is in a very good location, it is only a few minutes walk from the ski lift. The room was better than a lot of 5 star hotels we have been fortunate to stay at. The continental breakfast has everything you need and more, especially the view from your table! Some may say it not enough as there are no hot options, but honesty with what is on offer you don’t miss the hot option!

Everything in our stay was great. The hotel is run by a lovely family and friendly staff. The location cannot be better: 30 meters just in front of the T-bar slopes with easy access to the whole ski complex. Breakfast is really good and our room was really cozy and clean, with a stunning view of the mountains.

Wonderful weekend at Alpine Elite Lodge We had the most amazing weekend at Alpine Elite Lodge! Everything was just right, from the cozy yet luxurious accommodations to the top-notch amenities including awesome breakfast, spa&sauna and late check out on Sunday. The attention to detail throughout the lodge was truly impressive and made for an exceptionally comfortable and relaxing stay. What stood out the most was the service - it was simply outstanding. Saas-Fee is an incredible spot to unplug and unwind.

Saas-Fee is an incredible spot to unplug and unwind. Surrounded by dramatic 4,000-meter peaks, glacier views, and crisp mountain air, it’s the perfect getaway when the summer heat kicks in down below. The car-free village keeps things peaceful, while the high-altitude cable cars make it easy to get right up to the snow. I’m sure it’s just as stunning in the winter for skiing, but for a summer reset, it’s hard to beat.

The propertyis about 15 minutes walk from the car station. It's on the edge of the village so in winter you could ski to the door. It was my first time in Saas-Fee. I found the locals really friendly and genuine. People in the shops and services really friendly too. The mostly speak a bit of English and most speak french as well as German and Swiss German. I think many speak Italian too, I am familiar with Zermatt but Saas-Fee beats it hands down. Much smaller but so classy and excellent restaurants. I would definitly want to return. The ski lifts and mountain metro are brilliant.

The village is small and quaint but there is loads of accommodations and restaurant choices all the same, and our family of four loves being able to keep skiing late into the spring/Easter period with higher peaks here holding snow for longer.

Saas-fee has some very long and excellent runs.

Saas-fee has some very long and excellent runs. The runs at the top of the funicular (metro) are classed as red- but IMO are blue- and they are the best runs in the area. The lift infrastructure is modern and efficient. In terms of piste crowding, we went at Easter, and even tho the lifts had queues, we waited no more than 15 minutes at the peak time of the day (the mornings), the runs were at times busy, but most importantly, never felt over-crowded. Being a small area, you could get quickly bored after a few days. We went 1st week of April, the snow keeps very well at the top all day, but at around 2500m and below, it starts to deteriorate from mid-day- so plan you skiing well. Saas Fee is very good for families, but for couples or groups (adults), I think it's a bit boring. Apres starts and ends early. The restaurants want you out by 9pm and there's only a small choice of bars- the Old Cinema Pub being the best- and it is very good- this is no Zermatt if that's what you're after. The bus from Visp can get crowded- you will need sharp elbows to get on! For a non-skiing day- I can highly recommend going up the Hannig gondola for a wonder round the top- the restaurant and bar is very good and offers fabulous views. Beautiful mountain views all around, a traditional Swiss village atmosphere and architecture. Nice to walk around at night. Good supermarket. I would recommend the sledging at Hannig and having a drink or ice cream at the top.

Amazing location and view, very quiet and clean (no cars allowed in the village). Lots of hiking trails and activities to do. Very nice restaurants. Sometimes it was hard to find the hiking trails and understand their difficulty and lengths. Maybe more signs would make it easier

We found the location of the apartment perfect: right in the middle of Saas Fee with easy walking access to lifts, shops, restaurants. There was a lot of storage space and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the patio as well. The apartment was nicely decorated, as in the photo’s. The Summer Saastal-card is provided with this apartment which allowed us to explore the area and mountains.

Breakfast was everything we needed. Hotel is very central - close to restaurants, ski-lifts etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant is excellent! Lovely family hotel and we will definitely book again when returning to Saas-Fee!
