CanadaHaving never tried Romansh/ Grisons food before, dinner here was definitely the highlight. Local ingredients and unique dishes were excellent, and the owner personally checked-up on me. Seeing how much I enjoyed the local cuisine, she even brought me an extra local appetizer for free. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small staircase up to the bathroom. The overall feeling is quite homely and friendly, and within very short walking distance from Disentis' famous abbey.

In the middle of nowhere, there is the paradise on earth. An hotel in the center of a beautiful village surrounded by magnificent mountains. Haven of peace where everything is settled. Very warm welcome. You immediately feel at home here. The staff is very kind. The rooms are beautiful. Mountain style decoration with a little modernism, it's very cozy. The garden with the chairs around the SPA and the swimming pool is beautifully maintained.
The restaurant's menus are incredible and you can have one of the dishes as “ à la carte” very appreciating . The food is excellent. This small hotel was a stopover on our trip. A coincidence which makes things good because we will come back 💯. We love this place. So quiet. Very nice hikes with free tickets from the hotel.

Beautiful, clean and cosy hotel. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bad, very friendly staff. The shuttle brings you with ski equipment to the skilift and back to the hotel. Spa is big, various and well organized. Pool is enough big for swimming with a relaxing lights and deco. Breathtaking nature, huge skiresort and hiking trails nearby.

very delicious, local and healthy breakfast. Lots of yummy options. the room was very romantic with fantastic view. everything was well organized, very comfortable and practical. There was lots of storage room.
the common area downstairs are combined with bar, very cozy and the stuff was extremely polite and helpful.

We went to Flims for skiing at the beginning of March.
We went to Flims for skiing at the beginning of March. There were no big crowds at all and did not have to queue practically at all to ski lifts. Not many tourists besides us.
Local skiers in Switzerland are very skilled, and slopes are therefore very safe. Slopes are also serviced at every night.

It is on height, far from main cities like Interlaken or lucerne. It may be better destination for youngsters and couples. I had family with me including kids and there was not much for them to explore. We had booked this for 3 nights but had to cancel the remaining two nights and came back to the Interlaken and booked a hotel nearby the city.

Ilanz is a lovely little town with numerous historic buildings. It is a wonderful place to stay if you want to have easy access to numerous ski areas, walking trails and pretty villages. The bus and train services are excellent and very well-co-ordinated. There is a good range of shops, and bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Cute, quiet and seemingly not so touristic place. Free cable car to the slope base, with great view. Therme design by Peter Zumthor is a strong point of attraction, providing a unique experience for both architecture and wellness lovers.

Some great activities for 6 year old granddaughter: Laax Murschetg treetop walk etc, and the Caumasee boat trail.
Places to eat: Cafe Restaurant Romana and Ustria Lags were both very good.

The village is very cozy and has a Volg (supermarket), a great bakery and some nice restaurants. It's very easy to get by and the mountains are super close for doing day trips: hiking, biking or walking.

Don’t like: Stale smell/ smoke smell that cannot get rid of even opened Windows for days. German / Italian electronic machines with swiss sockets. Too old and too basic kitchenware.

Vals Graubunden is a place in the end of a valley.
Vals Graubunden is a place in the end of a valley. Isolated but charming. If you like to be outdoor, there are numerous activities you can do depending on the season (hiking, walking, skiing, snowshoeing)
Its also the place of excellent local food (cheese, milk, bread, meat) and culinary experiences.
For the passionate architect fans, 7132 with their Therme is amazing to experience, inside and outside.
