First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the smooth and fast check-in from the very first moment. This care made the beginning of our stay comfortable and stress-free, as if you were waiting for us with open arms. But honestly, what made my experience unforgettable — truly exceptional in every sense of the word — was one young staff member. Her name is Lidija. My friend, this girl was more than wonderful. She was indescribably friendly, kind like a sister, and as cooperative as an old friend. The way she treated me and my wife was full of respect and warmth, to the point that we felt we weren't in a hotel — we felt we were in our second home, even in the home of family and friends. Truly, Lidija made us feel warm and safe. She is a living example that a caring employee is the real secret to any place's success. May God reward her with all goodness. As for the room, I can only say: how beautiful it was! It was warm, impressively clean, and the stunning view of the lake gave the heart a sense of peace and indescribable calm. The cleanliness I saw with my own eyes made me stand in respect for the hardworking team behind the scenes. Because of these beautiful feelings, I will continue to advise everyone I know — all my friends and family — not to think twice about any other hotel when visiting your beautiful city. Our prerequisites when we were searching for a hotel was firstly a very easy walk to the train station with our luggage, secondly a hotel that has a brilliant location for sightseeing, then a room that has a nice view and of course a comfortably spacious room with great beds and room to move comfortably. When one travels from far and it is expensive to travel, you want to get your choices right. This hotel and room 201 and 202 was just perfect for us. Loved this town and was greatful that we had made the choice to stay here for two nights. This was the right choice on our way to the town, Wengen where we would overnight next.

I was only here for 2 nights due to the city of Thun on my road trip through Europe and I didn't have high expectations, but the hotel pleasantly surprised me. It has a great location, right next to a lake with the possibility of swimming, as well as a smaller park and meadow where a tiny train drive around. The rooms were clean, nothing to complain about, i found finally a hotel with large space in shower. Breakfast is not amazing but not bad either. The staff is very nice and willing to advise, sometimes mix up which side is left and which is right :)) but its nothing. Overall rating: Perfect

Upon check-in, we were greeted by an excellent receptionist with friendly tone and smile. There is a complementary coffee/tea machine available to use at the mini lounge at the staircase the same floor as our room. The room is spacious and clean, design is warm and cozy with centralized air-conditioning (hot and cool). The bathroom has good hot water supply that can go up to scaling level for comfort during winter. Breakfast option is good too. Hotel is located within walking distance from Thun station.

Beautiful hotel with the character - loved it from the stairs to the view on the castle. We were lucky to have a spacious corner room with 4 windows - full of light and fresh air. Located right next to the old center and convenient parking (reasonably priced and discount is provided from hotel), bus stop is around the corner - connecting to Train station and Spiez. Breakfast is beautifully served in the restaurant, selection is limited but enough. Regret we stayed just 2 nights.

This hotel is spotless! The decor is a little dated, but it is very clean, and not shabby. The breakfast was adequate, no complaints. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great, just what we wanted. The only down side was no air conditioning. It was warm, but we just slept with a window open, so not an issue. Hotel location is lovely with stunning views. Plenty of parking too.

We loved the place from the very first moment. The interior of the room was relaxing and the air was as fresh as the summer breeze. The views to the Lake Thun, to mountains and to the city were amazing... the best you can imagine. Good breakfast with good view to the city. Bread was best of the year so far. We have already made a new reservation.

Amazing view! Also the restaurant staff were so cordial. Since there wasn't a reception, we often had to reach out to them for info and they were more than happy to help. The assistance was prompt and helpful as well over Booking.com chat. The restaurant food was top notch. We did boat riding which was free and a nice experience.

Beautiful location with great views of the lake. The food was amazing. Sauna and swimming pool were of very high standards. The staff really make an effort to help you enjoy the place. The bar had amazing cocktails and we really enjoyed the walks and boat trip organised by the hotel.

Had a lovely two night stay Staff helpful and friendly Provided with free bus pass from hotel Bus stop right outside 5min ride into town. Public transport very good.. Thun is beautiful, the climb upto the castle is well worth the effort.

The setting is beautiful, with easy access to the lake and nearby attractions ( Sigriswil suspension bridge). The staff were very helpful and friendly.
