Short overnight stay in a spacious room, nice and quiet.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet-style property. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled between the mountains and the lake, it offers a postcard-perfect view right from the window. My room was cozy yet modern, with a comfy bed, a large TV, and a lovely balcony furnished with wooden chairs — perfect for soaking in the breathtaking views of both the lake and the surrounding Alps. The property itself has a charming, old-world wooden chalet design, giving it a warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite the traditional style, the room was very well-maintained and felt fresh and comfortable. Getting to the property is super easy — it’s just a 4-minute bus ride from Spiez Bahnhof on the B60 bus, and the bus stop is conveniently located right across the street. The same bus line also takes you directly to Interlaken in the other direction, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The lake nearby is truly mesmerizing, perfect for a peaceful walk or just relaxing by the water. There’s even a lovely Greek restaurant just a short walk from the property, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and scenic getaway in the Swiss Alps.

Ich habe letzte Nacht im Regina Hotel übernachtet. Die Lage ist fantastisch, mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Berge und den See. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm; das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und modern eingerichtet, und der Preis war angesichts der Qualität sehr angemessen. Auch das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist selten, ein solches Hotel zu diesem Preis in der Schweiz zu finden. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

I really loved my stay around here! First of all, the location is amazing, of course! Right by the lake, with a beautiful terrace, you really have a magnificent view! The staff is very kind and helpful and the room are very clean! The building is not like these every day new hotels but gives you a nice atmosphere. Additionally, the location is a perfect start to go hiking - you can start directly from there or get all around the lake by bus or boat. I will definitely come back here - thank you to the entire team!

The staff was very sweet, from the cleaners to the reception, to the resturant and breakfast. It felt very quality controlled and that the customers were taken care of including us. We like that we were given seats at the breakfast so that we got a clean and good table! We were also very happy to get the Bus pass and thanks to Vivian at the reception, we got to use it to save some time and money around Thun and Spiez. We would love to come back one day. <3

The view was absolutely beautiful, and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The young woman who works there was incredibly kind and always happy to help. We really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was very large, same as bathroom. We had a fantastic view on the lake and a second side balcony with the view on the village. Breakfast was decent. We also had a nice dinner at hotel restaurant. Having only 2 floors, the hotel has an elevator. Also, they have a covered free parking for hotel guests and an electric charger for electric cars. We arrived with an electric car and it was so good to get it charged by the hotel because the nearest electric charger was far away.

The view was stunning, the food in restaurant was very good and staff from the restaurant was wonderful. Hot tub and Spa was wonderfull.

Good location with a great lake view. Enough parking lots available, even for bigger cars (outdoor space and 2x underground parkings). Very friendly staff and owners, pet friendly behaviour. Great patio. Restaurant in-house. All expectations were met.

Lovely hosts, well-organized place with easy 24/7 check-in. The view over the lake is simply stunning.

The hotel is in a great location right next to the river, with the boat pier directly in front of the property. It is very convenient for catching a boat, especially at sunset. Bus 61 stops just around the corner, and it takes only 7 minutes to reach Spiez train station. If you arrive from the station, the hotel is also within an easy 16-minute walk. Spiez Castle is only a 5-minute walk away and offers beautiful views of the entire town. The staff are very kind, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Our balcony had a wonderful lake view, which was the highlight of our stay. This hotel is a great choice for a relaxing vacation.

Location close to train, view over lake, amenities close by and not swamped by tourists, giving a better Swiss experience

I was offered an upgrade to a spectacular room, a lake view toom which was just amazing, I was given a small yet yummy birthday cake after an amazing dinner with Rose pettles all over my table. Also a gift of choice. I indulged in a facial, swam in the heated pool and took a sauna. After our checkout time we could stay longer to enjoy the amenities. Upon checkout we were given special alp water and a bus voucher to our next destination. This hotel stay was our most impressive and would certainly return.
