I recently stayed at Novotel Dalian Zhongshan Square and I’m absolutely blown away by the entire experience—this hotel has exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dalian. First of all, the location is unbeatable. Situated right at the heart of Zhongshan Square, the hotel is within walking distance of subway stations, bus stops, Tianjin Street Food Market, and Youhao Square. It’s only a short taxi ride to popular scenic spots like Xinghai Square and Donggang Harbour. Whether you’re here for sightseeing, shopping, or business trips, getting around the city couldn’t be more convenient. The check-in service was incredibly smooth and professional. The front desk team was warm, polite and efficient when verifying my reservation details. They patiently answered all my questions in advance, especially regarding package storage. I was worried about my delivered parcels before arrival, and the staff clearly explained that all packages with a correct hotel address would be safely placed on the storage shelf in the front desk office, which really put my mind at ease. I booked the Deluxe Twin Room, and the room condition was impeccable. The space is bright, clean and well-maintained, with soft bedding, quiet air conditioning and complete amenities. The washroom is spotless with good hot water supply, and the large windows offer a nice city view. The room sound insulation works great too; I barely heard any noise from the corridor or outside street, so I enjoyed a restful sleep every night after a full day of traveling. Housekeeping service deserves special praise as well. The cleaning team tidied up the room thoroughly every day, replenished toiletries and towels timely, and kept the whole space fresh and tidy throughout my 3-night stay. On top of everything, the overall service attitude of every staff member I encountered was friendly and attentive.

Great location, clean and spacious room. Staff were very friendly and helpful with my package deliveries. They even have a robot to deliver your food takeaways. Very nice hotel. The hotel is also very near Russian street.

Let’s just say it’s very very convenient to many places and the room is very big. Good facilities with nice food for breakfasts. The heater/aircon is good, water temperature is good also! The staff are all very friendly and helpful!

The staff on 20th floor is friendly, attentive, has attention to detail. She made my stay like at home.

Breakfast was great. 25 meters swimming pool every morning was perfect, with steam bath and hot 41°C jacuzzi after pool.

We liked everything. The location is awesome, it's only 5 minute walk from the train station, and another 5 minute walk from the famous Broken bridge. The view from the windows is super, on one side you see the city itself and on the other side it's the beautiful Yalu river with the Broken bridge bordering with a North Korean city. The staff was very nice and helpful. Check in and out are super fast.

Everything. View is fantastic (weather permitting). The room is large and the bath amazing. The 3rd bed for our child was one of the most comfortable I have ever seen. The valet was very kind.

With our upgrade an escape from family in an outer district became an unexpected and unforgettable few days in Shenyang, thankyou to all the staff there who went above and beyond to help us.

Exceptional staff. Very good room.

A new hotel with good and comfortable rooms and a reasonable gym. Staff tries to assist foreign guest where so required, which is quite sympathetic. Breakfast was so so, but sufficient. For a business trip this hotel is recommendable as it’s also quite centered and not extremely far from airport and where I had to be.
