Rinconcito Lodge features a garden and complimentary WiFi in public areas. The rooms offer a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. They have wooden furniture. We started with a room that was to close to the restaurant. Then you hear the kitchen extractor and the smell on the balcony. The room was further oké. But we asked if we good have another room, which was fixed directly. This room was even bigger and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The restaurant has fair pricing and the food is really good. The breakfast was delicious and the staff super nice. Just book you will have a great time here.

The staff were awesome, waking up and feeling very close to nature was a great experience for me and the family. The birds and nature were amazing. The cabin was super clean.

Wow wow wow , loved every minute here , we didn’t want to leave ,would happily stayed here for a month. We went horseback riding, zip lining, swimming in all of the pools , had Jorge over for an English cuppa and biscuits, then dinner. What a wonderful man running a fantastic place .

Hacienda Guachipelin Volcano Ranch Hotel & Hot Springs is located at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, in north-west Costa Rica. This was such a lovely experiece! Great beds, clean room, hot shower, lovely staff, thermal pools and an armadillo hopping about in the garden... There were also some nice short hikes/trails to waterfalls on the property. It is however (considering the distance to the hot springs and some of the trails) very convenient to have a car with you when you stay at Guacipelin. We did not feel that the prices in the restaurant were extremely high: a pasta goes between 12-18 USD and a pizza (the best we've had outside of Italy!) is around 12 USD. The nearest soda (a 13 minute drive) charges a bit less for food, but the difference it not that much.

The owners were friendly and super helpful. The meals were great. The room was spacious and super clean. The backyard was so beautiful and relaxing.

Set in Guayabos, Pochote Lodge offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Pochote Lodge was a comfortable and beautiful place for us to spend a few days. Don't expect fancy but if you are looking for a genuine experience, comfortable accommodations, and a beautiful location then this is it! Francisco and Veronica were kind and generous hosts and we loved the home-cooked breakfasts. An ideal location for our family to explore the area.
