The Hotel Siegfriedbrunnen seems to be the main hotel in the beautiful German village of Grasellenbach. It is a lovely, comfortable hotel, with excellent facilities including a fine restaurant (for indoor and outdoor dining) and a swimming pool. All of the staff, especially the lady who was the main waitress at breakfast, were wonderful. We will return as soon as we can!!

Can only say 10 of 10. Really good service, clean hotel room, private garage and a nice atmosphere. I loved the pillows and the bed. Only sad thing is that we didn’t have time to se the town because we were only passing through but the positive thing is that we are coming back someday so we can stay longer and of cause on this hotel again. We loved it.

The breakfast here is amazing, so much choice and delicious - the evening meals were good too! The staff are super and very helpful. Our room was simply great, we were able to sit out on the balcony and watch the river traffic and birds which was lovely and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Heppenheim has a small but nice, old pedestrian friendly...

Heppenheim has a small but nice, old pedestrian friendly city centre with a lively ancient marketplace with restaurants and terraces. Bistro Filou and it's Tuscan inner garden terrace are highly recommended. Outside of the city centre you can find large supermarkets like Rewe, Lidl etc, but also many wine producers and vineyards that are open to visitors. Heppenheim is well situated near well known larger cities like Weinheim, Viernheim, Heidelberg and Darmstadt. You should certainly go to Weinheim and Heidelberg if you haven't been there already.

Charming old town an der Bergstrasse, a wine growing area. Close to Darmstadt. Nearby das Fuerstenlager, a very special spot, created by the Landgraves of Hessen-Darmstadt in the 18th and early 19th century. Also recommendable: the ruins of Castle Auerbach: romantic with an excellent view over the landscape.

Nice room, it was very clean. It was also very quiet. The hotel was next to a street but there was barely any traffic during the night. The beds were good. Very good pillows. Shower good be better. The stream was a bit hard. For me not a problem but maybe for some people less comfortable. And the curtain was not very good so the whole bathroom was a swimming pool. So that could use some improvement. Shops and restaurants on walking distance and free parking available. I would recommend this hotel.

Neckarsteinach is a beautful town on the Neckar River.

Neckarsteinach is a beautful town on the Neckar River. Heidelberg gets all the press but Neckarsteinach (for me anyway) is a much more desireable location. Also, it has four castles/fortresses!

it is a remote location, this hotel is for relaxation and recuperation of mind and body. the Saltwater pool is unbelievable. the different restaurants at the hotel serve exceptionally good food at a still reasonable price

Lovely old town with many half-timbered houses, plenty of restaurants (we didn’t eat at any as we were at the wine festival, but we were told they were good. Nice panoramic walk to the Starkenburg castle, lots of friendly people. Directions from the station to the town centre could be better, but wasn’t a major problem.

We stayed in the old part of Bensheim, everything in walking distance, lots of old, half timbered houses, old part of town is charming. The Waldorfer Hof was our favorite restaurant. Easy to get to surrounding cities/towns by bus or train

There are many attractive villages along the river Neckar,...

There are many attractive villages along the river Neckar, with castles up in the hills. Ideal for hiking and riding your bycicle along the river. This village has 4 castles, some of them still in private hands. Neckarsteinach is not the most attractive village in the area, it's a bit dusty and messy, but a good starting point for visits in the vicinity. My advise: Dilsberg ( a small village up in the hills), Bad Wimpfen, and of course Heidelberg.

Small village surrounded by woods with beautiful walking trails. A health resort. Excellent Italian restaurant in the village; the hotel Siegfriedbrunnen also has fine restaurants, indoor and outdoor.

We arrived Oct. 6, 2023 at about 17.00 Hr in the afternoon...

We arrived Oct. 6, 2023 at about 17.00 Hr in the afternoon we dit not receive the message with the information on how to enter our Room because we were traveling still. When we arrived we noticed the message on the stairs down to the basement area and found the key in the #2 metal basket we opened the door and entered through the outside door of the basement. We found the #2 room on the end of the corridor and opened it we were totally amazed what we found a real small Beth with a head (single 1 person) Head pillow with virtually no filling, and also a skimpy 1 person (what was ones a Overthrow and not a blanket) that also was ones had some filling. It looked and smelled the Beth linen was used and not changed for the new Gests. There was no way we would stay there and spend the night. This was totally not what we expected and inadequate. We made pictures of this disaster and left leaving the keys in the aforementioned basket with a note that we will not use this room and want our money back. We got a room at Holliday In in Darmstadt for the night. It did cost us a lot more but is worth it we could not stay in that Dump. I did write a email to the owner but no reply. The only thing what I received was a request to “Rate” our stay. We are not happy Customers and could not stay in your "Apartment" M and C Hartman
