Quiet and accessible location, car parking right outside, 20 minutes from Heidelberg. For a budget hotel it was fine, if basic. Tea and hot water available in reception 24 hours. Good shower.

My parents who traveled from Korea to Germany wanted a quiet hotel, so I booked it. It was a great hotel with fantastic views and a light walk to Heidelberg Castle. Above all, the staff was very friendly, and I felt like I was visiting my cousin's villa

Size of rooms, easy going staff, location

We loved the location atop a hill with beautiful views of Heidelberg & the Neckar River below. The fanicular into town is just 50 meters from the hotel. The room was beautifully arranged with comfy beds and views over the valley. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good. The entire staff was very nice & helpful. On-Parking was plentiful. Will definately stay here again during our next visit to Heidelberg.

The breakfast here is amazing, so much choice and delicious - the evening meals were good too! The staff are super and very helpful. Our room was simply great, we were able to sit out on the balcony and watch the river traffic and birds which was lovely and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was absolutely beautiful. We got upgraded to an even nicer room with a balcony overseeing the city. The bed was extremely comfortable as well.

This hotel is in the very old center of the city (next to funicular station to the castle). Extremely clean, great bedsheets. I've got a room with a shared bathroom (it was very clean too) and inside the room was a basin with tap water which was really helpful (I didn't need to go outside to wash fruits or clean hands). Bed was really comfortable. Building is beautiful. Breakfast was super! I highly recommended this place!

Excellent location and view! The room was good sized and comfortable.

We found this little gem quite late in the afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised. Right in the middle of the old city and next to the open plaza so plenty of eateries and bars to choose from. The noise from the night was never a bother. The room was comfortable and warm. The breakfast the next morning was lovely and the coffee was perfect.
