I would highlight the fantastic saunas, the very good quality breakfast, the renovated rooms and the hotel staff's kindness.

My son and I shared room 18 and from the moment we entered, we knew it would be wonderful. Tastefully decorated and charming, the beds were so comfortable and everything was wonderfully clean. The hostess is one of the friendliest and most accommodating ladies I've ever met, we witnessed her helping several guests with questions and always happy to help.
The location near the lake and the town's main street was ideal, and the breakfast provided is "10/10" with hot & cold choices of meats, cheese, bacon and eggs, plus cereals, breads with a variety of jams and even fresh fruit and yoghurts. There's truly something for everyone, all provided in a delightful dining room on the ground floor, which you're also able to enter freely throughout your stay for tea, coffee, cool drinks and snacks.

We stayed there for a weak in the off season and had a wonderful time. I honestly do not know what could be improved. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the location is really nice and the SPA area great, I could imagine though that the latter could get a bit crowded, if the hotel is really fully booked.

Overall everything was excellent.
One of the main points I wanted to mention is the excellent staff (Ostina Makaskey) she took care of us upon arrival and was super nice with dealing with my kids. She was amazingly kind and accommodating. We were very happy with her hospitality. She was helpful and kind in all means.

We really appreciated the upgrade to a lake view room for my boyfriend's Birthday and the decoration in the breakfast table which was very nice. The employees were all very helpful and nice. The breakfast was amazing and we also enjoyed the game room downstairs. We will be definitely coming back!

It is a beautiful little town.
It is a beautiful little town. We were there during the summer holidays and there were a lot of tourists. The prices in the local shops are also higher, tourist prices. For groceries, it is best to drive to a Lidl or Aldi just outside the village. Furthermore, the people in the shops and restaurants are very friendly and helpful.
In the evening, we walked half a lap around Lake Titisee, which was quite manageable. There is also a Ferris wheel in the village from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Titisee.
The local shops mostly sell the same things, such as the famous cuckoo clocks, wood carvings, honey, drinks, and other trinkets.
We ate at Bistro Zum See. The food was fine, and we received good service. We also had a nice meal and got delicious sandwiches and cake at Fischerbeck Bäckerei & Konditorei. Next to or attached to it is a restaurant where we ate tasty burgers with fries on the day of departure.
The roads in and around Titisee-Neustadt are good. It is important to pay close attention to the speed limits when driving in this area and the villages. For example, where the speed limit is 50 or 30 km/h, do so, as there are black speed cameras that you cannot see (especially when you are driving in the dark) and you can easily get caught.
We did not use public transport, but with the Hochschwarzwald Card, which you receive as a tourist (often when booking your accommodation), you can travel for free on public transport.
We went to Badeparadies Schwarzwald, a subtropical swimming pool located near the village. This one has many slides and also a palm oasis where you have more relaxation options such as a few saunas and health baths (you have to pay separately for the palm oasis).
Nearby, you can enjoy beautiful walks along forest paths with small waterfalls at Ravenna Gorge. It is advisable to wear good hiking boots and to be aware that you will also have to walk a lot uphill and downhill.

Very nice area in any season.
Very nice area in any season. This summer we spent 5 days with 2 grandchildren, by walking in Feldberg, visiting Titisee, enjoying the water fun parc from Schlussee and visiting the Reinfall. Great time to create memories!

Good as the base for outdoor activities like hiking and biking.
Our kind of vacation wasn't based on what the town has to offer, but on the surrounding nature, so I can't say much about the tourist's attractions in the town.
Sometimes there's a problem to find a place to eat. You have to reserve a place in the restaurant in order to get there. The fact that most of the restaurants have the same days off is not helping too.
Generally speaking, nice place. Not cheap though.

A quaint and peaceful German town where we stayed for one night while visiting Christmas Markets across the region. We were there on Sunday of Christmas week so many of the stores and businesses were closed, but everyone we met were very pleasant and welcoming.

A small town in the middle of the mountains of Black Forest. Very good restaurants (twice a dinner at Ryan Grill & Curry, and once a dinner at Pizzeria Bella Italia). Easy to find a free parking place at the town center after 18:00. Multiple hiking areas with medium-to-hard difficulty connected to each other over the mountains. Very easy to plan hiking routes from 5 to 40 kms.

I walked through Todtmoos and it was all faded glory. I had a pizza in one of the last restaurants left and the service was like in the hotel: long waiting, very impolite and grumpy. Todtmoos is a village you should forget.

Three great restaurants (Haus Tannenberg, Herrihof, and Lo Chalet) and some nice hikes to do around the village.
The waterfall is great to experience from the hanging bridge and the hike around it is also nice.

The place is pretty good to rest and enjoy some time with nature. There are many small and beautiful villages around which are easily accessed by car. I am not sure about the public transport options, but definetly I recommend a car to better explore the area.
The options of restaurants and supermarket are limited in some places but all the restaurants I visited had very good services.
I recommend this beautiful area for relax and be in contact with nature.
