Excellent hotel right on the Moselle and 5 steps from the coziest, little Christmas market (a must see!) You can't beat the location. Our room was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We had a bottle of the hotel's sekt waiting for us in our room upon arrival. Breakfast was outstanding; a large variety to choose from including the hotel/wineries wine and sekt. We will for sure have to visit in the late spring when it is warmer and take the winery tour offered through the hotel. We will be back!

Everything was above and beyond our expectations. We felt so pampered and spoiled by the staff during our stay. The hotel was quaint and paid exceptional care to details. Our rooms had robes, slippers, extra towels, relaxing spray for our pillows, and little extras that may not have made our bags for the trip. The property is very clean. Breakfast was amazing and had much to offer a variety of tastes. Dinner was fabulous (a reservation is required for dinner, but easily done). The staff that greeted and cared for us every morning was so personable, friendly, and attentive. The view of Trier at breakfast was peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel! If we ever return, we will definitely be staying there.

A warm greeting and introduction to our room, and a secure room for our bike storage was the start of our pleasant experience here. The efficient A/C was a welcome relief after a day on our bikes. The suite was very clean and modern, with everything provided, from spare toothbrush/paste, hair dryer, cream for coffee and tea selection, electric rolladens, and even a little chocolate on the pillow. After a peaceful sleep, breakfast the following morning was beautifully presented with plates of meat and cheese and fresh warm bread. In addition, there was a menu of extra items you could order for a warm breakfast. We really felt pampered during our stay!

I have so many things to say! My husband and I were at the restaurant before corona. Since then they have renovated the hotel and it is wonderful. Quiet room, normal shower that doesn't leak under the door, blow dryer and very comfortable beds. The restaurant food and service was as amazing as the first time we went. Prices reasonable too. Breakfast was standard buffet, but plenty of variety and certainly enough! I loved having a full coffee can at the table! We biked to the hotel and I must say the storage room for the bikes was excellent. Plugs for our e-bikes and a really good tire pump!!

Fantastic environment. Old construction but well maintained. Good balance between old and new. Room was large (we had the deluxe version ) and very clean. Nice and spacious bathroom, with Villeroy & Boch equipment. Of course. Breakfast was very generous and provided many options. Breakfast rooms (yes, more than one) were superbly decorated and featured V&B plates, cups, etc. Definitely classy. Staff was impeccable, helpful, and spoke other languages besides German. For us, the price point was higher than most of our other nights, however we fully appreciated every moment we spent there. Highly recommended. Memorable. Thank you!

beautiful and serene, this property is meticulously clean and well kept. the privacy of a small town and the tranquility of the mountains leave you wishing you could live there. the pool and spa area are pristine and perfect, the pool is crystal clear and warm, the view beyond the glass is gorgeous. you get pampered and leave refreshed and fabulous. the staff is kind and super helpful. they stock the mini bar in your room with free goodies. the breakfast is delicious and the meal served in the restaurant exquisite. best place I’ve stayed in years.

A nice and comfortable family-ran hotel in the Mosel valley. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the whole experience from the beginning to the end, no serious complaints. The staff was very nice and helpful to us. The kitchen is extraordinary, we really enjoyed the breakfast and a dinner. The location is splendid, near Bernkastel-Kues and all the Mosel valley attractions, as well as easily accessible from the highway. We would return anytime in the future, highly recommended.

This was our second visit to Trier, the first was some ten...

This was our second visit to Trier, the first was some ten years ago in the summer. This time, we discovered the tourist "road train" which takes you on a three quarters of an hour sight seeing tour around the town. Fantastic way to view the town before setting out on foot.

Plenty of cosy cafes, good restaurants and ancine streets to explore. Lovely craft shops, great countryside. Easy access to the Mosel, boat trips aplenty, although the one we took ( in December! ) was a little short.

Good for transit to Hahn Airport.

Good for transit to Hahn Airport. Though 2hrs 15m from Frankfurt Main, flight from Stansted is c. 1hr 10 mins, much quicker than LHR to FraMain because of plane stacking, clearing on arrival and departure much quicker. Price of flights up to 50 % cheaper. Food choice during snow storm very limited, 2 coffee shops, 1 McDonald's. 15 minute walk to a couple of restaurants in town but cold and snow made not viable.

Boppard is a quaint, authentic Rhine wine town with very nice restaurants, walking trails, scenic river cruises, friendly people, and excellent tasting rooms. Servus, Eisernes Ritter, and Bellevue Rhine restaurants were superb.

We were visiting long time business friends , long retired now . Not been since covid so good time had by all catching up. Seen all the sites . Mill , cave , stones , etc. Speisebraten, wine hunting on Nahr. , Mosel and Rhine takes up most of our time. Kuchen n coffee.

Zell is a charming village right on the Moselle River. We enjoyed sitting by the river watching the barges and ships. The town is very walkable, and there is frequent bus service to the nearest train station of Bullay. This is a wine town; if you like Riesling, you are in the right place!

Trier is Germany's oldest city.

Trier is Germany's oldest city. There are seven Roman sites within the city centre which are UNESCO World Heritage. The Christmas market is excellent as is the pedestrian area with its small shops and interesting historical facades. Overall, there is a feel good factor about Trier. Well worth a visit.

Lovely old town with a lot of wine shops.

Lovely old town with a lot of wine shops. A lot of wineyards within 10 minutes drive, for fantastic tastings. A great winotek on the Kuues site of the bridge. Food was so so, two of four restaurents where definately more turist traps than restaurents. Schützenhaus was a nice lunch restaurent with a fantastic view over the Mosel. Book at least two nights, becaus there is to many wines to taste in one day. You will definataly be drunk by noon. I would go again.

Near airport...but no night checkin...

Near airport...but no night checkin...Booking is not telling you or warning...I had to pay without stay...landed 23h...bad service...no money back from motel...said that I have to tell Booking...here I am...not satisfied.

Boppard is a small town, right on the Rhine.

Boppard is a small town, right on the Rhine. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants, ice cream shops, retail shops etc. The station is very close to the centre of town so easy to get to other fantastic places. Easy to get to by car. The town is quiet in the winter but still most places are open. The chair lift is absolutely fabulous, and the views are superb. However, last time we went up on the chair lift, we couldn't get back down because the winds became a lot stronger, BUT they will order a taxi for you and refund you the return trip BUT GET A RECEIPT from the taxi because they won't refund you without it. Most hotels will give you a Guest Card which gives you discounts on local attractions, and FREE train and bus travel within quite a bit region, so you can visit Koblenz, Rudesheim, Linz, Limburg (all very highly recommended) for no extra cost.
