It's beautiful, nice, and clean. The staff was friendly, and welcoming, which was very refreshing. They helped us in English and even in Spanish. The room was cozy, and very comfortable, and clean. And it smelled good too. We liked the shower very much and the simple and modern decoration. The location is also really good.

This was a lovely hotel, and our room (no 305) was stunning. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. Staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend Rheinliebe bistro for dinner. Ask staff for shortcut at the back of the hotel . Also enjoyed wine tasting at weingut graf von kanitz in the village. There is a well stocked supermarket at the top of the road too.

Hotel Spöttel is an historic and charming building from the Art Nouveau period, with many delightful details and antiques. It has the ambience of the turn-of-the-century spa culture, which I enjoyed very much. The room was larger than expected, traditionally and tastefully furnished, and with a modern bathroom - a well-appointed and comfortable room that I was happy to return at the end of each day. The breakfast rooms are elegant and the service very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing - an abundance of delicious choices! And there was music to complete the delightful breakfast experience - uplifting classical walzes on some mornings, nostalgic Elvis Presley ballads on others. Just a 10-minute walk from the train station, the hotel’s location is superb. Around the corner from the quiet, tree-lined street, it’s just a short walk to Bad Nauheim’s city center, the bath houses and the Kurpark. The staff at Hotel Spöttel are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. They also have fascinating stories to share about the history and life in Bad Nauheim when asked. Since I was arriving later than expected, the reception kindly called me with information on how to get my key. I deeply appreciate this concern for my well-being. My first visit to Bad Nauheim was wonderful thanks to my stay at Hotel Spöttel. I very much look forward to my next visit to both! P.S. Recommendations - visit the Gesundheitsgarten for an interesting Par Course, a Saline experience and Kneip foot and arm baths; Schwyzer Hüssli cafe at the city center end of the Kurpark for a delicious meal and an abundant selection of cakes.

Found very nice small old town in mid of Eschborn- about 15-20 minutes walk from my hotel. There were several nice restaurants. Had time to try 2 of them- one German, one Italian and both of them were super. Evenings seemed to be crowded, so if possible I would reccomend booking a table.

Beautiful city with parks, clean streets, no rush traffic,...

Beautiful city with parks, clean streets, no rush traffic, calm and kind people, beautiful Taunus Therme, long pedestrian Louisen strasse with shops, restaurants, cafes.... We did not use public transort, everithing was accessible by foot.

The old town, complete with its DOM and KornMarkt are excellent and well worth a visit during a 'stopover'. Down by the river, and on the other bank, there the newer face of Wetzlar with it's malls, shopping centres and main traffic thoroughfare, so good vehicular access.

It took me about 45 minutes to walk to the city center. I almost just stayed near the hotel. But I'm so glad I ventured further. It was a beautiful walk! All the apfelkuchen was gone by the time I found the cafe I was looking for, but I found another cafe in cuter location, and they two other desserts made of apple. With a coffee, it was a perfect Sunday afternoon treat.

We enjoyed the breakfast.

We enjoyed the breakfast. It was nice that there is a restaurant in the Hotel even though we didn’t have dinner there. The rooms are quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable although we are used to a Queen size it was ok.

The sceneries are beautiful, the parks are nice to walk in, run, walk your dog, is just beautiful. The peaceful while not being far from Frankfurt is heavenly. There is a zoo as well nearby which we didn’t manage to visit due to time. The town is pretty like and we also got lost in translation with the directions to get to the castle. However we did manage to walk around the city which was pleasant

A nice little town.

A nice little town. I did not explore much as I was there on a business trip. Lots of green and blossoming trees and flowers. Quiet at nights and lively during day time. I would recommend to explore the town.

Bad Soden is a lovely small town in the Taunus area, it has a nice vibe and has a lot of top restaurants where you can eat. You can go into Frankfurt with one tram so easy access into the city. The weekend where I stayed there was the cutest Christmas festival in the Kurpark so this was a bonus, with great food, gift items and glühwein.

Wiesbaden, Hesse's elegant capital, offers tradition and beauty akin to other fine German cities.​ Diverse restaurants suit all budgets, while the Sternschnuppenmarkt (Christmas market) impressed as larger and lovelier than those in Darmstadt or Frankfurt. The Staatsheater opera house provided a delightful evening. Buses replace trams but sufficed, as key sights were walkable—leaving our RMV tickets unused. Overall, excellent value for a superior experience.
