This is a very good hotel. The room was large and comfortable, not lacking anything. Comfortable beds. The rooftop terrace was really nice and pleasant, and the ruins in level -1 were great. Very nice staff, super helpful and kind.

FAQs about hotels in Andalucía

Pulsating with History and Tradition

Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.

Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.

Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.

You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.

Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.

Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

Amazing location directly at the beach with a small rather private beach. Very friendly staff. My first room smelled of cigarettes, but I got a new room and after that nothing to complain about. Very extensive buffet for breakfast and dinner. WiFi at the room was fast and reliable for video calls and video streaming.

Seville is a wonderfull city to explore.

Seville is a wonderfull city to explore. Good walking shoes are essential, obviously, the red toursit bus showed some good sites also the tourist boat. The taxis are very reasonable & you can flag them down if showing the green light. The city is very clean & friendly, with plenty of tapas bars to check out. We chose to go in the middle of May & the temperature was just right during the day, albeit a little chilly at night. The covered market was a joy with lots of interesting stalls, fresh fruit & veg galore. The tapas was plentiful & portions enough for 4 sharing. All in all a city not to be missed.

One of the best things about our stay was the fantastic location, with easy access to many tourist attractions including the Picasso Museum, Gibralfaro Castle and Theatre, the beach, harbour, scenic viewpoints, and plenty of historical sites to explore. The local restaurants and cafés offered food and drinks that were very affordable, delicious, and catered perfectly for everyone. The city itself felt very safe, even when walking around the lively and busy areas, which made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. The trains were also frequent, easy to use, and extremely convenient for getting around and exploring further afield.

Cordoba's main attraction would be the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba. It is a must see since there is nowhere else like it. If you have a limited time you could do the city in a day just for the Mezquita-Catedral. However, if you could spare some times a nice 2-3 days on a relaxing pace is well encourage. There are Medina which a very well preserved historical city, walking the bridge and getting inside Torre de la Calahorra is a nice experience, or just to wonder through the Patios Cordobeses. These are all relaxing experience.

It's a lot more touristy and crowded than I expected. If you're a retired couple looking for a place to do a lot of drinking and laying on beach chairs getting fried, this is probably the place for you. Wall-to-wall bars, restaurants and touristy shops. I guess I should have done more research before coming here. I would still come back to the area, but I would use the Malaga airport as a staging area for visiting other areas that are reasonably close -- Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda ...

Marbella is an amazing destination-beautiful beaches, fantastic restaurants, and a great atmosphere throughout. The old town is especially charming with its lovely streets and authentic Spanish feel. The hotel experience made it even better: breakfast was excellent with both buffet and à la carte options included, and the quality of the Spanish produce was outstanding. A perfect mix of relaxation, great food, and luxury.

Perfect for a beach stay but frankly not much else to do.

Perfect for a beach stay but frankly not much else to do. I spent 2 days there and in that time I think I saw all there was to see which was as follows: 1. Benalmadena pueblo in the hills 2. Castillo Colomares 3. Buddhist stupa 4. Beach 5. Marina 6. Parque de la Paloma 7. Bil bil castle - from outside only as it was closed for repairs I decided to skip the waterwheel and it was too windy for the cable car. On my final day I decided to walk to Torremolinos as I spent 4 days there last year and much preferred it - it has a lot more things to see and do than Benalmadena. I ate at a local tapas restaurant full of locals but the tapas were poor. I had manchego and patatas bravas as I am vegetarian. Manchego was good but the potatoes were not so following the locals was for me not a good choice. It might be better if you eat meat, fish. My other meal was a Dominos pizza which was excellent!! Very easy to get around using public transport - buy the green Consortio card to get cheap travel on the buses, trains in Andalucia. Ubers are very cheap too.
