A wonderful welcome from the staff. They were very helpful with our bags and also explaining the parking (very close and I would recommend booking it as there is no parking around the area). The room was lovely with antique doors - such workmanship! The bathroom was roomy and the shower was great. Comfortable bed. Great location for exploring the old city.

It's a charming boutique hotel, situated in Trinidad Square. The location couldn't get any better. The view of the park was beautiful, and even if it was steps away from most the attractions, the hotel remained peaceful and quiet. The guest lounge with complimentary pastries and drinks was a nice surprise.

Very easy to register with an exceptionally helpful receptionist who highlighted places and events on the town map supplied. She was also helpful with enquiries during my stay. Easy key drop early in the morning I left. The room was kept spotless during my stay - excellent and attentive cleaning staff. The apartments are just across from the beach, within easy walking distance of the town and restaurants. There are bus stops just outside the apartments for the circular bus route into town and easy street parking if you have a car. The restaurant downstairs can be/should not be overlooked - such friendly staff and surprisingly excellent meals. There is also a very good buffet breakfast - not advertised and somewhat hidden away. In all everything made for a perfect holiday - thank you.

Location in Granada cannot be beat. Being part of the Alhambra means even the hotel itself is steeped in history. I knew it was an old Nasrid villa converted into a Franciscan monestary but was surprised to find the original burial site of Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon just outside the main cloister of the building. The restaurant was great, particularly the patio in the evening.

In general it was a very pleasant stay for 3 days. We liked the views and the cozy atmosphere at the restaurant. The hotel is located at a hilltop and has great views. Besides: Great prices at the minibar. Cleaning/beds made every day. Water bottle filled up everyday. Parking spaces were always available. Late/free check in was available (check first)

Some amazing sights.

Some amazing sights. Exceptionally hot at the time we went (45+ degrees some days) - to the point it literally stops you in your tracks walking. We had to opt to explore in the car some days with the AC running, or choose activities that we could do later in the day or in-doors with AC. But Albaicin, the Alhambra, Sierra Nevada, Guejar Sierra, all absolutely spectacular places that can only be fully appreciated in-person.

Almuñécar offers a wonderful range of places to explore.

Almuñécar offers a wonderful range of places to explore. The beach stretches along the coast from Almuñécar to Salobreña, which is as far as we ventured. Just off the beach, you’ll find delightful shops, restaurants, and vibrant squares filled with entertainment and beautiful, illuminated trees.

Herradura is a beautiful place to spend a holiday.

Herradura is a beautiful place to spend a holiday. We went to the local beach as well as to Playa de Cantarján in the nearby natural park. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts at our host Nuria’s cafeteria, and we also tried several restaurants in the area, where we mostly had fish and seafood or simply a glass of white wine with the essential tapas. A memorable experience was an evening spent with the locals cheering for Spain in the match against Belgium at the Football World Cup. We also visited the surrounding towns — Salobreña, Málaga, Nerja, Frigiliana — and the amazing Cueva de Nerja cave. On the beaches you can rent kayaks for trips to the caves; we also recommend snorkeling or taking a diving course.

Such a great little city that feels very safe and enjoyable for travellers. We loved the local feel of Motril, unlike other places along the coast that we visited. The locals were friendly and there was a great selection of restaurants and bars as well as a nice walk to the beach with good access for pedestrians. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a car as the streets are little but a scooter or moped would be ideal. You must try Pizzeria Vespa and Zarcillo Restaurant was such a special place to go for dinner too. We also loved a little late night walk around the cactus garden which is such a cute place. Motril, you were excellent!

Our 6-day trip to Capileira was good.

Our 6-day trip to Capileira was good. The village has several very charming squares where it is pleasant and romantic to spend time, especially in the evening by candlelight under the illuminated trees. There is also a very good steak restaurant and a few shops selling artisanal regional products. 4 km further is a very charming village, PAMPANEIRA, with nice narrow streets, shops, and a few good restaurants. PORTUGOS, with the Fuente Agria and the Chorreron waterfall, is certainly worth a visit, as is SOPORTUJAR, the witches' village. All are very close by and more than worth a visit.

The coffee was good.

The coffee was good. The staff were friendly but could not speak much English. I was expecting a buffet style breakfast but only toast with a topping was available. The hotel was clean but needed more air circulation as it felt stuffy. Would have been nice to be able to see out of the window as the roller shutters did not work. I would go back but only for a one night stay. Lots of local people go including lots of truckers, Many truckers use it as a truck stop. The evening meals were good but nothing fancy as you would expect from somewhere that truckers use.
