Hotel Gran Sol

Hotel in San Antonio

Set 328 feet from Caló d’es Moro Beach in San Antonio, the Gran Sol Hotel has a large swimming pool with a sun terrace and snack bar. Best value for the money on the whole island. Exceptional breakfast (the other guests are right, pancakes are to die for), great location, very quiet. Situated in a good area of San Antonio, close to where all the bars are, but quiet enough so you don’t get disturbed. Excellent personnel, super helpful. On the last day of your stay, you can leave your luggage into a safe locker room, and you also have shower rooms available free of charge. That’s a super useful option if you want to spend your last day at the beach. Overall very happy.

Hostal La Cigüeña

Hotel in Portinatx

Set on the beachfront in Portinatx, Hostal La Cigüeña features an outdoor pool, gym, and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Bikes are available to use for free. Staff confident you will have a good stay and they weren’t wrong! Room was lovely, pictures on booking.com do not give it justice, breakfast was amazing. Our booking with another hotel got cancelled (we had booked months in advance and cancelled two days before arriving). Irish lady at La Ciguena (didn’t get her name) reassured us our last minute booking would not get cancelled - glad the other hotel did cancel as we found this beautiful gem.

Hotel in Cala Vadella

Offering a shared swimming pool and garden, Petunia Ibiza - Adults Only is located in Cala Carbó, 1804 feet from the beach. The property offers accommodations with air conditioning and free WiFi. The ambiance, the view. Staff are friendly and the place is clear. Such a serene and peaceful place. The view is spectacular and the room is very comfy and spacious. And loved the cats there 🙂 I suggest activating the place with more programs including music and others and sharing daily schedule to the residents like (pianist playing n the roof etc.)

Ibiza Highlights

FAQs about hotels in Ibiza

An island of surprises

Even though it's famous for fantastic clubbing, Ibiza is so much more and makes a surprisingly good family destination.

Booking.com’s range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Ibiza cover all types of vacation. The main nightlife is centered around San Antonio, where superclubs Es Paradis and Eden only kick off after midnight.

Playa d’en Bossa also has amazing clubs including Space, which attracts big-name DJs year after year.

Nearby Ibiza Town (or Eivissa) is the island’s capital, and although it has its fair share of bars and restaurants, the feel is more laid back.

The cobbled streets in its walled Old Town, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, provide some shade from the Spanish sun. Along the coast is Santa Eulalia del Rio, a much more exclusive resort where the marina is lined with expensive yachts.

However, the best family hotels in Ibiza are in northern resorts like Portinatx and Port de San Miguel.

Here, crystal-clear waters lap sandy beaches hidden in rocky coves.

The scenery is simply stunning and the vibe couldn’t be more different from down south.

Inland, Ibiza still retains much of its original character.

Renting a bike is a great way to explore sleepy villages like Santa Agnès and San Rafael, though be warned: some of the terrain can be tricky!.
