Staff confident you will have a good stay and they weren’t wrong! Room was lovely, pictures on booking.com do not give it justice, breakfast was amazing. Our booking with another hotel got cancelled (we had booked months in advance and cancelled two days before arriving). Irish lady at La Ciguena (didn’t get her name) reassured us our last minute booking would not get cancelled - glad the other hotel did cancel as we found this beautiful gem.

Hotel La Torre del Canonigo - Small Luxury Hotels

Hotel in Ibiza City Centre, Ibiza Town

Located on Ibiza Town’s Dalt Vila Hill, this property offers fantastic views of the sea, port and town. It offers late breakfast and air-conditioned rooms. Firstly, the staff was truly phenomenal and went above and beyond to make us feel at home even before we arrived. In addition to how wonderful they were daily the entire time of our stay, they provided a bottle of champagne gratis when I mentioned it was going to be my boyfriend's birthday, and on the actual day of his birthday they did a little surprise cake for him after breakfast. Their attention to detail was impeccable in the little ways as well - mentioned in passing I was a bit chilly one morning during breakfast as it was quite windy that day and was immediately brought a blanket. Another example that was so subtle but did not go unnoticed - one of the women who cleaned our room must have noticed that unfortunately that time of the month had arrived, and moved the bathroom bin much closer to the toilet from its original place across the bathroom. Honestly cannot say enough nice things about the entire staff! And the hotel itself: wow!! The buildings of the hotel were gorgeous, spotlessly clean, and decorated in a way that perfectly combined the history of the buildings with modernity. The pool area was divine, and we spent a lot of time there enjoying how calm and refreshing it was. Our room was perfect, tucked away in one of the buildings - super quiet and secluded. The size of the room was generous, the bed was super comfortable, and the view was great - looked out onto the marina and was a treat to see each morning. We were able to walk down to the town from the hotel (although they do have a shuttle service provided by the hotel which can bring guests up and down), but whenever we needed to be taken down to our car we barely had to wait. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was delicious, not one dish was not to our liking, and their breakfast was fresh, delicious, and generous as well. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel for an all around incredible getaway!

Ibiza Highlights

FAQs about hotels in Ibiza

An island of surprises

Even though it's famous for fantastic clubbing, Ibiza is so much more and makes a surprisingly good family destination.

Booking.com’s range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Ibiza cover all types of vacation. The main nightlife is centered around San Antonio, where superclubs Es Paradis and Eden only kick off after midnight.

Playa d’en Bossa also has amazing clubs including Space, which attracts big-name DJs year after year.

Nearby Ibiza Town (or Eivissa) is the island’s capital, and although it has its fair share of bars and restaurants, the feel is more laid back.

The cobbled streets in its walled Old Town, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, provide some shade from the Spanish sun. Along the coast is Santa Eulalia del Rio, a much more exclusive resort where the marina is lined with expensive yachts.

However, the best family hotels in Ibiza are in northern resorts like Portinatx and Port de San Miguel.

Here, crystal-clear waters lap sandy beaches hidden in rocky coves.

The scenery is simply stunning and the vibe couldn’t be more different from down south.

Inland, Ibiza still retains much of its original character.

Renting a bike is a great way to explore sleepy villages like Santa Agnès and San Rafael, though be warned: some of the terrain can be tricky!.
