Absolutely bueatiful interior design rooms had good soundproofing but there was no kettles, however there is a coffee machine which is also good. It’s 40 minutes away from central Madrid by train but again, beautiful building, similar hotel may cost double in central Madrid.

Magnificent and magical at once, it is one of the most exquisite hotels I have been to. A maze of secret gardens, courtyards and terraces, this Parador never ceases to surprise its guests. Scent of jasmine fills the air and in the evenings, beautiful sounds of Spanish guitar accompany you for dinner, as the surprising tastes of local cuisine slowly unfold. I wish I could spend all summer swimming in the sunlit pool, reading under the canopy of colourful trees and being ever enchanted by the charm of Chinchón.

Very very nice hotel! We loved the room and the hotel, it’s clear that the staff goes above and beyond for their guests and we really enjoyed our stay. Madrid is a major cosmopolitan city with a lot to offer, art museums, churches, great food; Unfortunately I was there only 24 hours, to focus on seeing the great Prado Museum. the Transit system is fabulous once you get to understand how it works (Metro). Retiro Park near the Prado is huge and lovely, like Central Park in New York. it has freelance artists sitting outside the Prado. The taxi to airport from Retiro cost only 20 euros. The Spanish people rave about their capital, but sadly I could not really experience it. I will add that the Prado is not what I hoped for as it lacked any 20th century or contemporary art. Still, it features massive Goya, Velasquez and Zubaran paintings that are unbelievable, and worth the trip.

Great, modern apartments, although the provided kitchen equipment is a bit limited. Needed to go and buy things like a chopping board and sharp knife which I would have thought would have been provided as standard. Excellent Internet and comfortable rooms. Felt very comfortable for a month's stay. Easy access to La Granja metro station. Not many food options nearby without getting metro, but tons that are just 1-2 stops away.

Historic medieval town with a wonderful atmosphere. Great food in lots of bars and local restaurants. Small local shops and beautiful parks and plazas to visit. A town steeped in Cervantes history. Fiestas in last week of August are wonderful with lots to see and do for all ages. Lots of places to visit with historical interest and a culture to be admired. The people of Alcalá are wonderful and are proud of their amazing town. The main square is beautiful. The views from the Torre are stunning. Every drink comes with a free tapa in most bars which was delightful. The restaurants are varied and we enjoyed fining hidden gems like Ébano.

Nice family suburb (way more pleasant than the busy overcrowded downtown of Madrid). Low buildings (4-5 floors max), vivid streets, lots of options to try local and foreign cuisine, but the Spanish siesta was a bit of surprise to me. Most of the Spanish restaurants start work after 19 o'clock, which is a bit too late for me. Looks like life follows different rules here - from 8 PM till midnight. Transport is more than regular but a bit confusing for foreigners - there are different transport cards for different areas/types of transport, which makes it hard to follow and explore easily.

We booked a tour of the Royal Palace which was the highlight of our trip. The Palace is beautifully preserved with so much to see and had very good english translations throughout the building. We loved our visit. The surrounding gardens are a pleasure to stroll around after or on another day.

Wonderful hotel with the most amazing owners. Torrejon is superbly located for Madrid and all of its attractions and the main airport. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose although the town could do with a good Indian.

The hotel itself was good, but it's in the middle of nowhere...

The hotel itself was good, but it's in the middle of nowhere, next to a grain elevator and under high tension electric lines. The only restaurant besides the hotel's was a gas station. Booking.com duped us into booking this hotel because our search criteria were for a hotel clost the the Madrid airport. It is 30 miles and a $50 cab ride away in the middle of a wasteland. Unless you have a car and are travelling elsewhere, do not stay here. My gripe is not with the hotel, it is with Booking.com including it in our "close to airport" search results.

Staff was great.

Staff was great. Location was convenient and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Enjoyed the Sanse Festival and the Toros Arena. Good restaurants located nearby to hotel. They also have parking.

What a fabulous Monument, full of Renaissance tapestries, frescoes and paintings! We had no idea how extensive the site was - Cathedral, Monastery, Library, Crypt and grounds, all in one immense 16th c complex. We spent a full 2 hrs inside. There looks to be great hiking in the surrounding hills, including to some look offs. Had we known we would have stayed 3-4 nights instead of 2.

It is easy to get a bus straight to the airport from outside...

It is easy to get a bus straight to the airport from outside the hotel as well as to other parts of Madrid like the NASSICA Mall. There is a shopping mall beside the hall where I had dinner twice which was very good. The hotel was clean and tranquil. Staff were easy to communicate with one lady stood out at the reception but I cannot remember her name she has brown or blond hair speaks really good English. It was a great stay.
