The rooms are spacious, perfect for a longer stay. The washing machine in the room is a bonus. The staff are very friendly and professional. Great selection of food and drinks in the cafe. The courtyard and downstairs bar make everything very convenient when you don't have time or inclination to go looking for a place to hang out.

Great location in the middle of the jungle—you can hear the birds and enjoy the natural surroundings, which we loved. The staff was very welcoming and helped us with renting a car. Since there are no major attractions nearby, having a car is necessary to get around.

Excellent location. We used as a stop off coming back from the Yasawa islands prior to flying the following morning. Good restaurant on site. Pool looked great, we were disappointed to have not had time to use :(

Awesome kids club, great food and breakfast buffet. Dinner buffet was amazing, so much selection. Staff were nice and really helpful. Also so nice to have the Fiji airways check in desk at the hotel so we didn’t have to go to the airport early, that was so handy. Would definitely go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Tanoa International. The location was super convenient, the facilities were beautiful and contemporary, the pool was awesome, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the coffee from the barista was fabulous.

    There is a nice atmosphere, not too hectic.

    There is a nice atmosphere, not too hectic. There are plenty of places to see nearby. It's a good base for travel further afield. There are some great restaurants and just simple places with nice atmosphere, people are always friendly and helpful. Taxis we used were cheap and safe. Just remember your "Bula" and "Vinaka" and, like anywhere in Fiji, the niceness pours upon you.

    The location is great.

    The location is great. Not too far from the airport and easy to get around with the buses and taxis to the Marina. Resort vibe everywhere with people clearly enjoying themselves helped along by the extraordinary friendliness of the Fijian people

    Lots of food options.

    Lots of food options. Go to the market for local food and coconut water. Malls located all over the main Suva shopping and eating area close to the market and within walking distance from each other. Parking is a humbug and best you park on the multi storeyed parking lots for shopping malls. They can be expensive so plan what you want to do before making the journey to Suva. If you stay at the Quest then no issues with parking as that is included with your stay.

    I have been to both Suva & Nadi and definitely think this area is much better. Good range of places to stay. Great beach especially where we stayed (Bedarra Inn). Sigatoka is the home of rugby & 7's and the locals are awesome.

    I enjoy getting far away from the tourist crowds when I travel to the islands, especially to see the people of the land and their way of life. Lautoka is an awesome place to get an insight of the beautiful Fijian culture, its people and community, and the real Fiji. You can count on many big smiles and ‘have a blessed day’s as you wander around the streets and parks. Life is simple here, just as it should be 💕

    A beautiful beach spoilt by floating litter and rubbish in the water. I have seen this often around the world and understand that it is a side effect of a bigger issue. I consider myself quite resilient but did not feel comfortable swimming here. Would be a good photo op if not intending to swim.

    This is a great option for those not wanting a smaller island holiday. Allow a good hour to transfer to/from Nadi Airport. If you're wanting to visit a local town, Sigatoka isn't that far away. Take a taxi, go to the local market and look around the shops.

    Clean Beaches, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, lots of family friendly activities- day and night and amazing staff at all the resorts we visited. Polynesian nights with lovo Dinner, held at resorts - Ultiqa fiji palms monday night, uprise beach resort Thursday night, Pearl resort friday night, is not to be missed. Pizza night at Ultiqa, indian buffet night next door at Pearl resort. Navua river rafting with village visit and waterfall. Fresh fruits and vegetables on roadside market stalls. Buffet lunch at The Establishment on Sunday- across the street from Ultiqa.

    Overall, it was a great trip.

    Overall, it was a great trip. Several onsite restaurants catered to all types of palette, friendly staff, good food and beautiful resort. Lagoon water was warm and great for a light swim/dip. We stayed in a lagoon facing burre - great views and lovely room. Infinity pool, Fish bar was the highlight of the trip.

    We loved the area as it was not too busy, Maui Bay had a supermarket, open area restaurants and the Indian/Thai restaurant on the main road was amazing. We hired a car for 4 days and saw lots of the area and met many locals and found some great swimming spots that had lots of sand without too many rocks/corals.
