"Montpellier is a beautiful city, the university keeps it lively and it retains a seaside atmosphere, even though it is 10km from the sea. it is big enough to have everything (museums, parks, theatre, music, good restaurants and cafés, shopping), small enough to walk around in. it has a terrific transport system and i recommend stopping in at the TaM mobility office to get the info, because the website is very hard to navigate. the folks in the office are super helpful!"

"Beziers is a beautiful city but it is very hilly. The historic city centre is at the top of the hill but the station is at the bottom so it's a steep climb with your luggage. The food market was voted the most beautiful in 2025 and is definitely worth a visit. There are several restaurants around the market and I can recommend La Johane. The food and the service were excellent. The cathedral is very imposing and, being at the top of the hill, gives a great view over the surrounding countryside. The restaurant Les Bons Amis is near the cathedral and I had a wonderful meal there."

"Cap d‘Agde is very nice destination with plenty of yacht ports and a few different beaches nearby. You can find there both restaurants, shops and disco clubs. Many small apartments with some with swimming pools. Big Aquapark and paid swimming pool are also in the area. There are buses to Agde and Gare where you can change to another bus to the airport but they do not go very often. Generally I do recommend."

"Loved this little town by the beach which turned out to have everything we needed for a beach vacation, even several locations for jet ski rentals. The public beaches have fine clean sand, the only issue is that they don't have chairs or parasols. There are private beaches that provide that as well as food and drinks, but we ended up buying a parasol for less than the price of a single entry fee. As in most every French town, the food was generally excellent but there were a couple of mediocre restaurants, check the individual ratings before you go in. And the best part: everything we wanted within walking distance."

We received a warm welcome after receiving clear directions to the car park where the bikes were really secure and out of sight. The young couple were extremely helpful despite the language difference. The rooms were individually named and decorated which added an interesting touch. There is no restaurant but there is an intersting bar nearby for all sorts of wines and a restaurant within easy distance. Breakfast was what one expects in a small provincial hotel and was ample.

This could be the best property we have ever stayed in, in terms of the comfort and quality of the rooms. Everything was gorgeous, the attention to detail was amazing, the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived very late (partly the fault of our GPS) but there was somebody on reception waiting for us; they upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom so we could access by lift and put charcuterie and cheese platters with bread which was very welcome after a long journey. Good communication put our minds at rest. Breakfast was excellent.
