The facilities are clean and they actually service the room clearing the rubbish and replaced the used towels every day. Location is good near enough to the centre but not too close with crowd and noise. Carpark very short walk to the premise and it’s very safe car park. The reception service by Jacque and Delphin were fantastic. Gave advance notice of the storm that approached Biarritz in the night.

In a pretty village. Easily accessible to restaurants/bars etc. The owner was there to meet us when we arrived and directed us to a parking space. She helped with luggage and was very welcoming. Great breakfast in the morning. Plenty of choice.

Hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. An exceptional, rare find that truly delivers outstanding value for money. Every single detail reflects quality, care, and thoughtful design, making this stay feel far above its price point. I will without a doubt return here. The staff were very kind, professional, always willing to help with any request, which made the entire stay feel welcoming. The location is perfect. The village itself is absolutely stunning, with picturesque narrow streets, charming bakeries, ocean and river, etc The hotel facilities are excellent. The gym is completely new and fully equipped, and the hot sauna was a real highlight. Everything needed for a true wellness experience was provided, including bathrobes and slippers. The lobby deserves special mention cos it is beautifully designed with a calm, relaxed atmosphere, and it was the perfect place for me to work comfortably on my laptop. The room was extremely well equipped and thoughtfully serviced. Every morning, sparkling water and still water were refilled, and there was a coffee machine as well as a hot water machine with tea and coffee capsules. And the lovely view! Breakfast was exceptional. Everything was fresh and clearly handmade, with high-quality ingredients. I am very picky when it comes to hotel breakfasts and often avoid them because the food is not fresh or the ingredients are mediocre but I genuinely enjoyed everything and ate every morning. The overall experience was amazing, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The cleanliness of the streets, the lively spirit of the residents, architecture from French colonial days were some of the unforgettable aspects. In off season, some restaurants are not open or on hiatus, but there were enough good quality establishments. Walking tours are easy, if you are ready for stairs and inclines here and there.

A beautiful little town with a gorgeous old town, lovely river. amazing covered market and cathedral. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops, beautiful squares to sit and drink coffee/wine in, and plenty going on. Can't recommend highly enough for a couple of days, and so easy to get in and out of the airport. Wish we'd had longer!

Not much. Its listed as 4 star. The property needs a complete renovation. Plus, with today's technology and the WiFi is non existant. On my first night I was not given WiFi. They were correct. Its less than 1 bar and you cannot stream. I would not stay again

Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a very pleasant little town on the South-west coast of France. Its beach is nicely sheltered from the wild Bay of Biscay, making it safe and attractive. We stayed in a central hotel with easy access to some lovely bars and restaurants serving delicious local cuisine. It's an easy drive into the countryside; we climbed a mountain called Larrun, part of the Pyrenees, then easily back to St Jean de Luz for a swim and out for dinner! Also some good local shops.

This town has a great beach, an active fishing port, a proper hypermarket (Carrefour) and loads of street restaurants. It's pleasant to walk around and feels safe at night. Unfortunately the restaurants are all at tourist prices and all feature local cuisine with pretty much zero acceptance that the world may have some vegetarians who might want to eat something other than a salad. Asian restaurants are usually a safe fallback in such situations, but Ciboure doesn't have any (not even take-aways!), which is just weird. There is a pizza take-away, but it's well away from the centre.

Lovely, long beach.

Lovely, long beach. Quieter than St Jean de Luz, but still with a good choice of small restaurants, often specialising in fish/seafood. Good public transport links, not expensive, to be able to visit other nearby villages and towns of the Basque Country Lovely walk up over the headland, or instead -a little stroll along the promenade. Visited Hondaribbia in Spain by a very short boat trip that leaves from Hendaye port. Beautiful little village-nice pintxos in the restaurants ! And good view from up by the castle. The historic little train de la Rhune up the mountainside not to be missed-but book ahead-it gets full. The chateau d’Abbadia is interesting.

Conveniently located for the city center and within walking distance from buses to Biarritz And St Jean de Luz. It feels as in the Basque country and the town has a pleasant central square with restaurants and a church. Accommodation was located not far from it, but going up and down a hill, which adds some time to the journey otherwise pleasant. There is a bakery, a grocery, souvenir shops and even a fashion store, and for more ample shopping supermarkets are just on the outskirts of town.

It's a small little town, I wish I could have stay longer.

It's a small little town, I wish I could have stay longer. It's a charming town, good people and store. Surrounded with some good vineyard just that I didn't manager to visit due to the time i have.

It’s a beautiful village. Peaceful. Clean.

It’s a beautiful village. Peaceful. Clean. Lovely shops and cafes and restaurants. We arrived on a day that the restaurant was closed in our hotel (Monday) which was a shame as we had heard it was exceptional…. We decided to stay another day because it was so relaxing and we had been journeying for a week from Madrid…! Unfortunately yhe restaurabt was closed on Tuesday too 😢 But do stay in room 103 with its balcony kitchen living room and gorgeous views over the valley.

Great city centre and beaches but the Rocher de Verges was...

Great city centre and beaches but the Rocher de Verges was the highlight. Not to be missed. The surprise was the Musee Asiatique - a delightful surprise. Very manageable and has some rare Asian sculptures.
