Side note - there are radios with an alarm clock function placed in the rooms and seems like people are really using them. Great idea, but I recommend you make sure to cut its power supply or to set your one up to your liking (mind you - there are seemingly multiple alarms defined). Mine for example went off at 7.30 am and then again at 8, but luckily I was already awake.

Orașul îmbină ingenios tradiția şi modernismul. Este al patrulea oraș ca mărime din Anglia, dar nu pare blazat, ca o așezare de provincie. Orașul respiră, trăiește, inclusiv prin cei 60000 studenți la cele 2 universități care populează cetatea. Oamenii sunt relaxați, străzile sunt curate, iar punctele turistice de atracție, deși puține, totuși interesante. În afara centrului, cu catedrala, cu teatrul Crucible, unde se desfășoară an de an campionatul mondial de snooker, de Winter Garden sau Lyceum Theatre, am apreciat grădina botanică - un loc plin de linişte, şi de verdeaţă sau Meadowhall Shopping Centre, situat în afara orașului, un mall mai mic decât pe la noi, dar mai liniștit, mai putin zgomotos. La capitolul minus aş menționa că de mâncare nu găsești clasica friptură - decât din vacă, iar pentru cei ce nu mănâncă această carne, cum sunt şi eu, nici nu ştii ce să comanzi la restaurant. Aşa încât, te alegi mereu cu burgeri.

We took apartment in Tregenna Castle. It was big, all equipped and clean. Breakfast was included in our package and they have amazing breakfast buffet. Resort also allows available amenities like swimming, gold, tennis etc. Parking was free and near to apartment. Resort have easy access to Porthminster beach.
