The house is equipped with everything you need (and more), is spotless and comfortable. It is remote, in the beautiful wild north of a beautiful, unspoiled island. Many beaches to choose for perfect lazy days with authentic Greek hospitality. We fell in love with the island and hope to return.

GreeceOur stay at Beach House Batsi was wonderful. The hosts were extremely responsive in every communication, from the very beginning to the very end, and they helped us find solutions to various setbacks that occurred during our trip due to changes in our ferry tickets.
The house was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and even though we were six people, we felt very at ease in the space. It is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils for a long stay. Its location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the central alleys of Batsi.
The house’s terraces are fantastic for enjoying every moment, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we didn’t miss any opportunity to enjoy our coffee outdoors. I would definitely choose it again for my stay on the island.

A Perfect Combination of Culture and Fun
A favoured weekend destination, the island of Andros is only an hour and a half away from Athens. Named after Andros, a hero descending from the line of God Apollo, this beautiful island features traditional villages, golden beaches, high mountains, small rivers and green valleys.
Featuring great nautical tradition and home to famous Greek sailors, Andros is not similar with any other island in the Cyclades. This small paradise is a great cultural destination thanks to its many museums and their unique collections of paintings, sculptures and archaeological exhibits.
The lovely Chora is the capital of Andros and one of the most popular villages of the island. Wander around the narrow alleys, admire the Neoclassical and Venetian-style houses, and admire the beautiful stone bridge.
Rich in history, the island has several towers including the tower of Ayios Petros and Fryktoria. Built by Venetians, the Pano Kastro was the largest city in Andros during the Middle Ages.
Built over a gorgeous natural harbour, the resort of Batsi has a sandy beach, shallow waters and nice taverns serving local specialties. Booking.com has a great selection of hotels, apartments and guest houses in the magnificent Batsi.

Lovely, peaceful place, just outside of the hustle and bustle of Chora. Make sure you have a car. We had a family suite, which was spacious and exactly as pictured. We had a small balcony facing the pool and a private patio with a small garden. And of course a Greek vacation cat, which loved petting but would also be happy just lying in the corner. We saw lots of little lizards and even a small gecko one night.
In the kitchen a small fridge with a small freezer space and a water kettle. Basic kitchen amenities and enough to get by. We had two drying racks on the patio. Shampoo and shower gel provided, as well as toothbrush. Beds a tad hard but ok. Cleaning comes by every day and is very thorough.
Pool is great, good to cool down and the pool beds are out of this world. So comfortable.
Breakfast was great, lot’s of variety and a nice view.
Owners are very kind and welcoming. We felt at home at the property and very well cared for. Recommended for anyone, family or couple. We would absolutely return.

Such lovely hosts, Nicholas picked us up from the ferry (taxi is 15 euro) and gave us a lot of good tips about the island and Batsi. He also arranged a rental car for us. Andros is beautiful in the spring, very green, lots of flowers, great to explore with a car. Batsi is a lovely village with a couple of good restaurants like Stamatis and Oti Kalo. We had a great time. Thanks so much, dear Nico & family!

The appartment was within walking distance to the town which was very convenient and practical.
The appartment was equipped with all the essential utilities and the room was cleaned on a daily basis. I would highly recomended the studio appartments for people looking for a peaceful and exclusive get away.

Beautiful little family-run business. The apartment was nice, clean, and very comfortable. Our host was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The view over the town and the sea was beautiful. The pool and playground are perfect for kids. Our whole family had a wonderful and relaxing time here, and we would happily come back!

Andros is a wonderful island and Batsi is a vibrant beach...
Andros is a wonderful island and Batsi is a vibrant beach town with lots of cafes restaurants and bars. The beach there is fine but there are much better elsewhere on the island depending on how far one is prepared to travel. Id certainly recommend a visit to Batsi and it's a good place to stay but I'd suggest getting a bit further off the beaten path for a full Andros experience.

Easy to walk around the town.
Easy to walk around the town. There are plenty of restaurants and eateries. The people were helpful and polite. The bus service allowed you to see other parts of the island without the need to rent a car.

This is an ideal place if you don't like to be in the capital city with a lot of noise and traffic. You are far enough from the street and have your own peace and quiet, and at the same time you are very close to the city where there is entertainment and an active nightlife. Everything you need is in the area, restaurants, shops, beaches etc

Lots of bars and restaurants on the waterfront, two good beaches in the town. One large-ish supermarket on the main road, more than sufficient to provide supplies for a self-catering stay. Good location to explore the rest of the island.

We liked the town, its pedestrian main street, and atmosphere in the evenings (when the local children "take over" the main square for games). It therefore seems less touristy than Batsi or Gavrion. There are lots of places to eat (usually well).
However, it is probably best to have accommodation just outside Chora (maybe next to the sea) and go into it as needed.
There is a lovely beach a few miles to the south which was empty most of the time.
Chora (and the rest of Andros) is probably very busy June to August.

We had a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay! The host’s attention was clear, friendly, and very welcoming. Pantelis gave us great recommendations for different places to visit. We truly wanted to stay longer and would definitely come back.
The house was very comfortable and perfect for 6–7 people. It’s located close to town (just 5 minutes), but you do need a car to move around easily. We will come back soon for sure!

Batsi is a charming seaside village with lovely views of harbour. I would recommend 2 nights as there is not much to do unless you are happy to spend the whole day on beach and eating at restaurants. October is end of season so most of shops and restaurants are closed on the island. We took a bus to Cora on the first day which was very scenic and the town (capital) is worth a visit.
