FranceOur stay was perfect. The rooms, with lovely balconies, overlook the sea, and the breakfast room is light and airy with the same open sea view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a variety of fresh baked cakes as well as yoghurt, fruit, cheese pastries, eggs etc. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful.
We loved Simos beach, which had the most amazing crystal clear water and soft sand; and the harbour town to promenade in the evening where you can pick a taverna for dinner on the seafront.

The place is 10min walk from the center, which is ideal because you have quiet and amazing views of the island. We absoluteley loved staying here! The owner is the best, she even Made us breakfast every morning and for free. She welcomed us with local sweets and was always available. The place is so nice and clean and taken care of. We didn’t want to leave.

We like the property location!!! It was on the uphill with an amazing view of the sea and Peloponnese mountains! The relaxing pool bed beside a swimming pool gave you the ultimate relaxation in your mind and your body!!
It was my favorite spot at all times, but especially at sunset!!

One of the most amazing places.
One of the most amazing places. Beaches are wide and long with lot of place for finding a secluded corner just for yourself, sea is warm and beautiful with alluring colours and views are breathtaking. We loved Kato Nissi beach and Lefki and enjoyed snorkelling over ancient Pavlipetra city. The village of Elafonisos is vivid with lot of tavernas and places for enjoyable evenings. Perfect holiday spot. Anywhere you sit you’ll get good food and good service. Moving around the island is easy, but you’ll need a car. Getting to Elafonisos is also easy with ferries going from Pounta every 30 minutes with costs of 16 EUR for 2 adults and a vehicle.

Ideal place for a short (3-4 days) holiday.
Ideal place for a short (3-4 days) holiday. Beautiful beaches (although when it is windy there are waves), and lots of tavernas and fish restaurants in the port. To get there is a 4.5 hours drive from Athens to Pounta, and a 15 mins ferry ride from Pounta to Elafonisos with several ferries crossing every 30 mins. Small Simos beach is the best, and you can find very spaceous umbrellas but pricey (50-60 euros for 3 persons)

Basically an Island characterised only by it's beach Simos .
Basically an Island characterised only by it's beach Simos . Some fine dining in the city and being a nature sancturay Natura 2000 you can get to see the gorgeous Karetta stroling in the sea of the port
