Staff was incredibly friendly and flexible and our room was clean, refreshed, and with a recently renovated bathroom. The room was a little humid but you are right on the water so that is to be expected! Considering the price, accommodations, staff, and ease of arrival and departure - 10/10. Simple and as described.

We booked 3 nights at Maniati, but we asked for 2 more, because we felt so good here. Kyria Alexandra is such a lovely person and a great host. Even if she had a shoulder surgery recently she was always there for us, offering breakfast, helping with everything we needed. The room was spacious, clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, the sea view is great from up the hill. It's also a very silent place during the day and the night, but so close to the village where you find all the tavernas, shops etc. Don't hesitate to choose Maniati Studios! We will certainly come back. Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ, κύριε Αλέξανδρα!

The hotel is in a very good position. Near the beach and right in the biggest village of the island. The staff changes towels and bed sheets every other day and they sweep the floor while you are away.

One of the most amazing places.
One of the most amazing places. Beaches are wide and long with lot of place for finding a secluded corner just for yourself, sea is warm and beautiful with alluring colours and views are breathtaking. We loved Kato Nissi beach and Lefki and enjoyed snorkelling over ancient Pavlipetra city. The village of Elafonisos is vivid with lot of tavernas and places for enjoyable evenings. Perfect holiday spot. Anywhere you sit you’ll get good food and good service. Moving around the island is easy, but you’ll need a car. Getting to Elafonisos is also easy with ferries going from Pounta every 30 minutes with costs of 16 EUR for 2 adults and a vehicle.

Ideal place for a short (3-4 days) holiday.
Ideal place for a short (3-4 days) holiday. Beautiful beaches (although when it is windy there are waves), and lots of tavernas and fish restaurants in the port. To get there is a 4.5 hours drive from Athens to Pounta, and a 15 mins ferry ride from Pounta to Elafonisos with several ferries crossing every 30 mins. Small Simos beach is the best, and you can find very spaceous umbrellas but pricey (50-60 euros for 3 persons)

Basically an Island characterised only by it's beach Simos . Some fine dining in the city and being a nature sancturay Natura 2000 you can get to see the gorgeous Karetta stroling in the sea of the port
