Aphrodite's Inn was a beautiful stay just outside of the city and just before the skii resort. The location was beautiful and peaceful with an amazing view. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable and thoughtful. The breakfast was perfect, with various options and also included espresso. The staff were also very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

We really liked everything about it. Such a comfortable place with the most cozy mattress and pillows. Very clean and our child slept very well in the crib that was provided. Clean linen and towels exchanged daily. Thank you!

The hotel was in an amazing spot, only 4 minutes walk from the main road where everything is. The room was incredible and the fireplace in the room was an amazing feature. The personnel was very kind and very attendinve. We used the spa as well and it was very relaxing. We met the owners as well that were lovely and when it cams to breakfast the pies where handmade which is always a plusu.

What an amazing hotel in an extraordinary location. The team who run the hotel do a wonderful job as the rooms are so welcoming and the dinner and breakfast we had were fantastic. If you are walking the Peloponnese Way, this is one of the stages and you're in for a treat. Thanks for a memorable stay.

The breakfast was simple but tasty. The rooms had wooden flooring a real bonus and were really generously sized with extra furniture (rocking chair) to contribute to the exceptional comfort. The fireplace would have been nice to try in the really cold depths of winter. Bathroom had a bath with a jacuzzi function, quite unusual. I did not have time to enjoy the spa aspect of the hotel. Very central with access to everything. Great view of the mountains from the window. Underground parking was very much appreciated. Nice bar but no time to try it.

A fantastic breakfast with a great selection of traditional homemade Greek food. The location was wonderful and within easy walking distance of the train station and the town centre. Eva was very helpful with ideas and information on places to visit.

Great location right in the main square. Beautiful room in the attic with all new fittings and fixtures. Clean room and super comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Even had coffee and tea and kettle in the rooms which is rare in Greece!

The town is a tourist base.

The town is a tourist base. Not particularly interesting or pleasant. We only went for the railway trip, but unfortunately it was cancelled on the two days we were there, due to falling rocks on the line. This doesn't happen very often apparently...we were just unlucky. There are cave lakes to visit but we didn't do that.The car journey to the town is wonderful both ways - from Dimitsana and Diakopto.

Lovely town with wide spaces, friendly people and some compelling history attached to it from the Holocaust and the Greek Independence . Great meal at a local restaurant that was delicious and very traditional. Unfortunately it is difficult to get around without a car and taxis are way too expensive. To get to Ayia Lavra which is 4 kms away they wanted 20 euro up and back. In the end we didn't go to any monastery. They should have buses that go up and back, at least during the tourist season

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History...

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History important sites, amazing nature walks and hike, lovely very affordable food and welcoming people. Even if you don't ski, as it is known for the ski resort, there are lots of things to enjoy. I will definitely revisit as 3 days at Kalavrita were barely enough.
