Centrally located hotel with stylish rooms and lovely lobby with a fireplace. Nice owners. The room and bathroom were completely clean and well eqipped. The beds were fine, heating worked well. There is a shutter on the balcony door to darken the room. Really good breakfast: both sweet and salty items, fruits, all delicious.

This is a lovely and cosy stay in Kalavrita. The host Roula greeted us like family every time we met. Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the centre of town, the room was comfortable and warm, perfect as we had storms and snow during our stay. We would definitely stay there again. Many thanks to Roula and Nicos for making us feel so at home.

The town is a tourist base.

The town is a tourist base. Not particularly interesting or pleasant. We only went for the railway trip, but unfortunately it was cancelled on the two days we were there, due to falling rocks on the line. This doesn't happen very often apparently...we were just unlucky. There are cave lakes to visit but we didn't do that.The car journey to the town is wonderful both ways - from Dimitsana and Diakopto.

Lovely town with wide spaces, friendly people and some compelling history attached to it from the Holocaust and the Greek Independence . Great meal at a local restaurant that was delicious and very traditional. Unfortunately it is difficult to get around without a car and taxis are way too expensive. To get to Ayia Lavra which is 4 kms away they wanted 20 euro up and back. In the end we didn't go to any monastery. They should have buses that go up and back, at least during the tourist season

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History...

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History important sites, amazing nature walks and hike, lovely very affordable food and welcoming people. Even if you don't ski, as it is known for the ski resort, there are lots of things to enjoy. I will definitely revisit as 3 days at Kalavrita were barely enough.
