The staff of the hotel was great and very welcoming. Even helped us in a situation where we forgot something there after we left. The photos also dont do justice on the forest and stream that is right in from of the hotel! Definitely worth a visit!

The breakfast was simple but tasty. The rooms had wooden flooring a real bonus and were really generously sized with extra furniture (rocking chair) to contribute to the exceptional comfort. The fireplace would have been nice to try in the really cold depths of winter. Bathroom had a bath with a jacuzzi function, quite unusual. I did not have time to enjoy the spa aspect of the hotel. Very central with access to everything. Great view of the mountains from the window. Underground parking was very much appreciated. Nice bar but no time to try it.

Amazing views and Stavroula and Christos were fantastic hosts! We enjoyed the peacefulness and tranquility. Accommodations are modern and comfortable with zen like decor. The outdoor space offers immaculate landscaping, pool, picnic area, etc. Several unique touches - I particularly liked the two lifelike ducks in the pool. Rooms have self serving breakfast (fruit, cake, yogurt, granola, coffee and tea) available all day with room service in the morning! We will definitely go back!!!

The room was amazing, cozy, spacious and clean. There was heating everytime we were in the room. (super hot!) And also hot water. The room was cleaned every day. The hostess was the sweetest, always speaking to us, telling us where we can go and where to attend. Her cooking amazing for the breakfast. Everyday something new along with the favourites! The reception is super cozy with a fireplace (where we get breakfast) There is ample parking in the property.

What a view, what a place! We spent hours sitting on the cozy living room by the fireplace. The view from the rooms and the balcony is unreal. Amazing customer service, the owners were at our disposal at any time and provided us with all kind of information for activities and places to eat during our stay! We can’t recommended enough for anyone wishing to decompress and enjoy the calmness. Just a safe heaven!

The town is a tourist base.

The town is a tourist base. Not particularly interesting or pleasant. We only went for the railway trip, but unfortunately it was cancelled on the two days we were there, due to falling rocks on the line. This doesn't happen very often apparently...we were just unlucky. There are cave lakes to visit but we didn't do that.The car journey to the town is wonderful both ways - from Dimitsana and Diakopto.

Lovely town with wide spaces, friendly people and some compelling history attached to it from the Holocaust and the Greek Independence . Great meal at a local restaurant that was delicious and very traditional. Unfortunately it is difficult to get around without a car and taxis are way too expensive. To get to Ayia Lavra which is 4 kms away they wanted 20 euro up and back. In the end we didn't go to any monastery. They should have buses that go up and back, at least during the tourist season

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History...

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History important sites, amazing nature walks and hike, lovely very affordable food and welcoming people. Even if you don't ski, as it is known for the ski resort, there are lots of things to enjoy. I will definitely revisit as 3 days at Kalavrita were barely enough.
