Almost everything! A big plus was how fast the host answered messages about our arrival and to find the place. The breakfast was very good! The bed was comfy. The shower was wonderful. I'd love to come back one day and explore the region. The people around seemed so friendly!

Nice clean spacious apartment with swimming pool, helpful staff. Location also very good to beach, nice restaurants and railway to Kalyvrita. If I had known such a great atmosphere and nice beach it would have been a place to stay even longer to have also a bit of beach holidays beside going to Kalyvrita with the railway. By the way for the railway it can take a bit of time till you can book online. ( less than one month, before you wish to go, do reserve online for summer)

The place was spacious, very central and just a few steps from the main street. Parking was easy around the property, the heating was excellent and there was plenty of hot water. We were three people traveling with two dogs and felt very welcome. The host kindly allowed us to check in earlier, which was a lifesaver due to severe thunderstorms that day. Communication was great, very helpful and quick to respond!

We had a wonderful stay at Azanias Chalet in Kalavrita and would absolutely recommend it. The views are simply stunning – waking up to that scenery each morning was a real highlight. The room was spotless, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt well thought out and relaxing. Our balcony overlooking the pool was amazing – the perfect spot to sit with a drink and take it all in. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and we especially loved being greeted by their beautiful, friendly dog – such a lovely touch that made it feel even more homely. Kalavrita itself is a gorgeous village with plenty to see and do, even outside of ski season. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the incredible Mega Spilaio Monastery, dramatically built into the rock face – truly breathtaking. We even had a very special “host” for that visit… a friendly local cat who decided to guide us around, which made the experience even more memorable! All in all, a fantastic stay in a beautiful part of Greece – we’ll definitely be back.

The hotel is wonderful but the owner and staff are incredible! Warm, welcoming and hospitable, as if they were opening the doors to their home with all of the comforts you need. The location is ideal, just a short walk the Main Street, museum, train station and town square. The homemade breakfast was OUTSTANDING! Fresh, varied, satisfying. We can’t wait to visit again.

While Kalavryta has a troubling history, it's a wonderful area, rich in natural beauty, with plenty to do outdoors, and many taverna/eateries to choose from. Do stop at the museum in the village center.

Very nice winter location with cosy feeling, nice food and local products as also a very beautiful and organised ski-center in good distance (with a car) which our kids ( 7 and 9 years old) really loved.

The town is a tourist base.

The town is a tourist base. Not particularly interesting or pleasant. We only went for the railway trip, but unfortunately it was cancelled on the two days we were there, due to falling rocks on the line. This doesn't happen very often apparently...we were just unlucky. There are cave lakes to visit but we didn't do that.The car journey to the town is wonderful both ways - from Dimitsana and Diakopto.
