There was a convenient parking space available and it was walking distance from a grocery store and the main town. The bedside lamps were also adorable, loved them! The apartment was also very spacious with a nice balcony view. The price was very good too.

We had room 5 which was fabulous, very large terrace with seating. Inside the apartment it was lovely the kitchen was well fitted out with lovely crockery all matching, plenty of cutlery and utensils. Christina who runs the place thinks of everything from cling film to cooking oil, biscuits, jams honey, teas and coffee, water all there for you to use these was greatly appreciated.
The kitchen area had a table so you could actually sit and eat, there was a small sofa in there too. Bedroom floor to ceiling wardrobes and drawers with a safety deposit box inside. Comfy bed with really good quality bedding.
Nice big bathroom big fluffy white towels which smelt so fresh. Fly screens on all the windows and shutters on the out side.
No shortage of places to sit out side, lots of plants and quirky ornaments ....car parking available..

We had an amazing stay at Villa Marika, slight hiccup on arrival which was dealt with beautifully, the property is large, comfortable, ideally located for staying in Vathy. There is a communal BBQ area that we hadn't realised when we booked but you have enough private space for this not to be a problem. I slept like a log here, the beds were fab, a real home from home and we loved seeing the owner for a little chat. It is an authentically Greek place so perhaps the bathrooms feel a little dated but they do exactly what they need to do. Aircon worked well, kitchen was nicely full of every utensil condiment that you need & always a bonus to have a coffee machine. Parking underneath if needed. Honestly a great place to stay for 2 couples. Loved the peace of the sunrises.

Our son and his friends stayed here as we had to cancel our trip to Europe unexpectedly.
Barbara was kind, friendly and communicated well with me even though I was unable to come and stuck in Australia. She was happy to host our son and his two friends instead. We are so thankful for this!
This review is completed through my experience communicating with Mentor and my son’s opinion of the hotel having stayed there.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the view from the bedroom of the bay was stunning.
Breakfast was an amazing selection of homemade cakes, biscuits, rice pudding, sweets and other delicious goodies.
We will come back to Mentor when we return to Ithaki.

The house that we stayed in at Tesoro of Ithaca was ideal for a family of 4. It had two bedrooms and bathrooms at different levels.
The property was very clean, towels and bedsheets were changed every two days and there was daily housekeeping.
Upon arrival we found ingredients for self-catered breakfast.
We were greeted by Panagiotis who was very polite and available during our stay. He provided very useful information on the beaches, restaurants and attractions of the island.

Lovely lovely house - we won't hesitate to stay again! It was very comfortable and we spent an equal amount of time enjoying the pool at the back and the view of the harbor at the front terrace. You can walk anywhere in Vathy from the house.
My daughter also left a personal item, that though it didn't cost much, was priceless to her. The host was very helpful in looking for it and she made arrangements to mail it to us.

Amazing view! We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clear and beautifully decorated. You’ll need a car to drive everywhere, but Stavros is only 5 mins drive away and some very nice beaches are very close too.

Characteristic, relaxed town in a beautiful bay. Plenty of restaurants in various categories. The only disadvantage in our view is the large quantity or (rental) sailing yachts and catamarans that occupy the bay, the quays, and are also very present near some of the beaches.

Quite location around waterfront, that is closed to cars. Lovely little coves to swim in. Very poor bus service so car or taxi required to get around. Taxi fare from Vathy very reasonable at 45 euros.

Great location, away from congested major towns, fabulous swimming at Polis beach. Great sight seeing walks to the ruins of the Palace of Odysseus. Numerous tavernas at Stavros and the port of Frikes, either on foot or by car. Very relaxing place to stay.

This was a most excellent destination.

great vibe, lots of restaurants and bars, lots of hidden walkways with shops of all types for a good mooch around ! Good service at all times we ate or drank. Overall good choice for relaxed break with some amazing beaches on 10 mins drive away.

Avra and Mythos were our favourite restaurants.
The 2 beaches at the end of Kioni are just so beautiful, one with a small taverna.

Lovely local village.
Lovely local village. Very friendly people and some great tavernas to choose from. Margarita's is the best cafe! There is also a small museum. Easy drive from here to local beaches. Also 10/15 min drive to Frikes and Kioni.

Frikes is an incredible little harbour - very friendly, great tavernas, beautiful beaches and a wonderful pier to jump off! We were one if few that didn't come on a yacht but we enjoyed it all the same! I'd return here in a heartbeat!!

Ithaka is peaceful and very beautiful.
Ithaka is peaceful and very beautiful. There are many stunning beaches - something for everyone whether you prefer solitude or more facilities.
Vathy is a lovely little harbour town with many tavernas serving excellent food and a good atmosphere in the evenings.
Roads are narrow but no problem if you take your time and don’t stress!
Can’t wait to return!

Frikes is a lovely place, but as we were getting towards the end of the season, and what with all the restrictions caused by Covid, 2 or 3 nights could have been better, with a 2 or 3 night hop at the other end of the island perhaps?
Luckily, Aristotelis Apartments were so nice, it didn't matter, and we loved every minute of our stay.
There are 3 nice, very small pebbly coves/beaches between Frikes and Kuoni. The water was so crystal clear you can see the bottom for quite a depth. Snorkelling was real fun. Lots of different fish.
The little beaches each had a long stone built bench you could sit on. some of the bench would be partly shaded by trees. These beaches weren't serviced with showers, toilets or bars. But beautiful, with lovel views all the way to Lefkada and beyond.
