From the balconies there is a great view over the Kastoria lake and town. Breakfast is rich. The rooms are spaceous and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Bathrooms are big and equiped with expensive sinks and watertaps. In general the hotel is made with the idea of providing good hospitality and relaxation while one is on vacation.

This is a wonderfully located hotel in a central part of Kastoria, near shops, cafes and the lake. The double room was spacious and actually had two desks and chairs (rare and very appreciated!). The bathroom was also a comfortable size and there were some cotton pads, Q-tips, soap and shower gel provided. There was also a small balcony. The room was spotless and the bedding comfortable and warm. There was also a good-sized wooden wardrobe. We had a simple and tasty breakfast of eggs, toast and yogurt. Fruit, cereal and little jam packs were also provided and there were pieces of savoury Greek pita/pie with either cheese or spinach and cheese filling. The receptionists were welcoming and nice and all kitchen and cleaning staff were kind and helpful. The lift to the rooms was adequate for two people with suitcases. Finally, this was a reasonably-priced, welcoming traditional hotel, which is not as easy to find anymore!

The breakfast was superb! I loved the lawns and all horticulture. It’s beautiful to have breakfast outside in open private surrounding. I had my dog with me, we got the room with separated entrance, looking at the big lawn, he was delighted with propertis park, and he’s the picky one.

Beyond all the usual (and great) things to do in Kastoria...

Beyond all the usual (and great) things to do in Kastoria...walking along the lake, checking out the mansions around Doltso square, the museums, the history..I also enjoyed the Wed morning farmers market, pilates at the new "Zed" studio, popping into the new M97 co-working space...and also, the little memorial to the Jews of Kastoria moved me.

It was better than expected.The swimming pool was very clean and as it was not crowded I enjoyed it a lot.The room,staff,breakfast were fine for us as well as the room facilities.We visited late August,so it was quiet.The garden ,so well cared and enjoying a coffee under the trees is an experience.

I really enjoyed my stay in Kastoria and was pleasantly surprised by the city's rich history. Its story stretches from Byzantine times to the present day, and walking through the old town, with its paved streets, beautiful traditional houses, and charming small corners, feels truly special. Kastoria is a wonderful city to visit, full of character, history, and beauty. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys culture, architecture, and peaceful lakeside walks. If you travel by motorbike, this route is an absolute pleasure.

Kastoria is one of the most beautifully picturesque cities...

Kastoria is one of the most beautifully picturesque cities in Greece. The lake is beautiful, the boat ride was great. The cave and the Neolithic village were fascinating. Kastoria is easy to get around with taxis. The cafe and restaurants are great. I highly recommend Kastoria!!!!
